We choose this as we were staying for one night before we head into Banff. Location is 5 mins from town centre. Lots of places to eat locally to the hotel. Only real downside is the noisy boiler/heater in our room that kicks in throughout the night and is really loud.

I've stayed multiple times but I think this was the first time I was on the bottom of the 2 story section. I noticed more noise from the neighbours coming through the vents. And a few times where the room filled up with the smell of weed smoke. I don't particularly care for that. I also forgot to mention to the front desk, that the bath mat was smelly and could use a good soak and scrubbing. If we stay again, I'd make sure to get a different room.
