Booked a 2 day getaway for my wife, with the hopes of relaxation and rejuvination. Unfortunately, she was woken by perisitent noise. First morning was septic or drainage work outside (3 hours) then the second day was painters in the adjacent room. Upon trying to schedule a massage (gift certificate purchased ahead of time) the spa did not answer or get back to her until the morning she was checking out. For the price you pay, and the size of the resort, i expected more consideration to the guests experiences. Disappointed.

Best girls weekend ever
Girls weekend every year here. The jacuzzi is the highlight. The drinks are awesome (a little pricy for food in the main building but we didn’t have to leave the resort so I guess that’s what you’re paying for!)

Check in was a great experience as we were greeted by Justin and our check in agent was very friendly and welcoming. Our check out was completely opposite. First I walked by the concierge 3 times and never did he look up, acknowledge me or great me. Upon check out I was very roboticly given my folio but never asked how the stay was or thanked us for staying at the cliff house. Very disappointing, you don't want your guest leaving on such a low note.

While the property was beautiful but service was very poor. For the $$$, I expected a much better experience. Starting at check in we were told the room was almost ready, but then had to wait 4 hours for a room, despite the hotel being completely empty. The woman at the desk said “we were not at the top of the priority list” - I think because we booked through Expedia. We were also informed all activities that day were cancelled due to staffing, even after speaking to concierge earlier that morning to confirm we could attend. The next day at the spa, the men’s sauna was closed and the create your own body scrub advertised on the website was out of stock. On the last day, the “free activity” advertised had a charge and they didn’t even have all of the materials to complete it. A huge part of the reason I booked was for the activities, amenities and experience and overall it was hugely disappointing. I could understand one or two issues but there were several, to the point I feel the website is misleading and portrays an experience the hotel could not provide. While the property was beautiful, I would not recommend nor would I book again.

Loved the experience but arrived at 2. Told that the room was being cleaned but would definitely be ready by 4:00. Room wasn’t ready at 4, not available at 4:15 “still being cleaned”…, finally ready at 4:35. Check out at 10 am…. Only really get a room for half a day.
