Beds were comfortable. Staff was excellent! Showers were clean and good water pressure. Biggest issue was that it smelled like an old smoker’s room and also quite a bit like mold. I assume the smell is embedded into the VERY old carpet. Interestingly, it seems they have updated bathrooms, granite countertops, newer beds and furnishings, but old horrendous carpet, couch, curtains, and a/c.

Carpet in rooms and hallways really need to be replaced. They’re old and stained. The lampshade in our room was cracked. Front desk staff could smile when speaking to guests. The bed was comfortable and the room did seem clean.

When I first walked in, everything looked clean, but smelled musty. But our room was clean and quiet. Everybody was smoking in the hallways, even though it’s a non-smoking facility other than that it was nice and close to where we were going for a concert at the baseball field.

This facility was clean but could use some updating in some areas. However, cleanliness is much more important to me than updated facilities. We felt safe and room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

The bed was comfy, and the sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean too. Some of the amenities were a bit dated but well taken care of. The air conditioner smelled a bit musty for the first ten or so minutes of running, after which it leveled out and smelled fine. The filters were clean, it probably just hadn’t been run in a while. The breakfast was fine, not too many option but we were satisfied. All in all, I’d say it was a good middle of the road as far as hotels go.

This was an upgrade from other hotels I have stayed in the Marion area, especially considering that the price was the same or slightly lower than the other places I have stayed before. The rooms are spacious and include all the commodities, including a functioning sink. Premium channels were also a welcome surprise! Continental Breakfast options were slightly better than other places but not incredible. Again, for the price, this is an excellent choice. Overall a good experience.
