Great First Time Trip to Charleston
Loved this property. Very relaxing and beautiful. All the amenities you need, but close to the hustle and bustle of Charleston. This was our first visit to Charleston area and we would definitely stay here again next time.

Our favorite new US resort! We had six amazing days here. It’s just far enough from downtown to feel like a peaceful resort, but just a short commute to the livelihood of Charleston.

Its a nice place but definitely not worth the weekend rate. We paid 240 a night on hotels. Com but then theres another 45 pernight in other fees. On Friday and Saturday it was 520 a night for the same room. We were in room 1105 which has a horrible mattress i put pillow between box spring and mattress to keep from rolling off bed. One sink in bathroom had trickle of water and other sink had broken stopper that would get stuck closed. The staff was great only thing i wish is when you check in things are explained better. Like a free beer everyday at one of the resort bars. Towel machines for pool were great. Drinks at the tiki bar were great but litte overpriced at 15 bucks for 16oz colada. I will say the shuttle to downtown was great, and drivers were awesome. We used it 3 times.

We really enjoy this resort. We been coming here for several years. Always enjoy the property. Our room this time was a little disappointing. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom, the fan above the bed didn't work - no pull chains and the switch wouldn't turn it on, but the worst part was the noise from the elevator. It was so loud! The hottub needs work. It was actually cold. None of those issues would stop us from coming back, because we love the area and the resort, the people are very kind, and the decor is beautiful.

Second time staying at the Beach Club. Excellent, clean resort with fantastic pool and tiki bar. Conveniently located just over the bridge from downtown Charleston. Highly recommend.

A really good hotel with a great location,however without valet and bellhops for an 83 year old individual this is not an excellent resort.

Check is was late, with no real apologies. I also sent a message through Expedia chat to the hotel a few days prior to our arrival requesting a room not near the elevator or ice maker, but that was not honored. Other than that, the hotel was in a great location, only 10-15 min drive into Charleston. Also, only 20 min from Sullivans Island.

Love this place, but it needs an update. 2 years ago the upkeep was much better. The curtains have stains and some of the furniture is worn. It’s in the perfect place. The resort is nice. It just needs some updates and more TLC.
