The property was really nice. The room was comfortable and roomy. There was a private patio that we could sit on and watch the boats going up and down the river. We saw quite a bit of wildlife in the river-ducks and an otter.

This property is older and in need of upgrades. However, it was clean. We were disappointed that they did not offer breakfast, even though they have a nice area to do so. We felt that the rooms were way overpriced for the condition of the hotel.

Rooms were clean, great location, nice view of the river right outside our room with a patio ti enjoy some coffee and watch the sunrise. Boat slips & docks in need of serious repair, but were useable.

Great location on the river. Outside of the property is dated and we were pleasantly surprised at the recently renovated room.

Avoid this hotel!
This extremely overpriced hotel is falling apart and filthy! It used to be one of the best hotels in the area but whoever is running it now has not kept it up at all.

Very dingy outside which was off-putting. Inside, carpets were stained which indicates poor upkeep on the property. No breakfast at all. Would not come back as price per night was too high.

We loved this hotel. It was very clean, smelled fresh, beds comfortable and it had a beautiful balcony with chairs overlooking the Cheyboygan river. We watched the boats go by and really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this place!
