Spend a fantastic getaway in this dog-friendly mountain cabin, where you can relax on the porch to the sounds of a babbling creek running just beside the house! Step inside to find a spacious and open living area, with beautifully burnished floors, a handsome gas fireplace, lots of comfortable furniture, and charming décor. When you're not pulling fish from Tuckasegee Lake, watch a good movie on the mounted flatscreen TV or head into the full kitchen to assemble a delightful lunch to enjoy at the dining table with seating for six or outside on the furnished deck for an al-fresco experience with incredible mountain views. The private gas grill will make it easy to throw a fun summer barbecue while the kids romp around the yard. You'll love gathering your friends and family around the firepit for an evening of good conversation and stargazing. Don't forget to let the private washer/dryer knock out everyone's laundry while you entertain the family with the provided board games.

This is a nice cabin to stay in for a few nights. The road up to it is very steep my truck said it was a 15 degree incline. But, it is worth it because the view from the porch is amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was well stocked and clean. We loved exploring the town. Drove to Mad Batter for supper n Monday night and enjoyed food and music trivia. Also, enjoyed visiting the general stores in area. Great time had! Thank you for a great stay.

Fun trip to Cullowhee

My self, my wife, the dog, our two youngest kids plus their friends came up to visit our oldest for HOCO at WCU. The cabin was spotless and comfortable with plenty of room for all six of us plus the dog. The views off the front porch were spectacular, the pictures don’t do it justice. Property management was professional and communicated well. The location is on a steep driveway but not too difficult to navigate. Certainly hope to stay here again.

Spectacular sunrise mountain view

The home was clean and decorated cute. Everything we needed was there on site. The sunrise from the front porch was beautiful! There was plenty of beds for everyone. The road up to the home is steep and we never actually found an area to see the running creek water, but could hear it. My family would definitely stay here again. It was close to WCU campus.

Excellent views steep road to get to the house

I found the views from the cabin front porch in the morning were gorgeous as the sun comes up. My wife didnt like the twisty mountain road and the very steep private road of the neighborhood. If you have family that are ok with it, then its a very nice place to get away. Wifi was good in the house, but you will lose cell signal most likely shortly after leaving the property.

Wedding weekend

My son and his fiancé had an impromptu wedding the weekend we were there. We were heading to Western Carolina for a short ceremony but after she saw the view we changed location to the cabin. It was amazing. Everything was perfect for the wedding weekend!

Lovely Location

The cabin was beautiful, this time of year is breathtaking! The fall colors around the area and the close hikes were so enjoyable. The views from the cabin should not be missed. The stars were bright and inviting to be explored by stargazers! The cabin was well equipped and had lots of wonderful touches. Could not find the fireplace remote and the fan in the Master did not work. Sent a message to Vacasa, got a response that someone would get back to us. In hindsight I should of reached out from Vrbo. Fire would have been enjoyable and added a bit more warmth, but did nothing take away from the comfort of the cabin.
