Room was clean but still had roaches in under the refrigerator had to call the front desk to get the TV station fixed took several hrs because the mgr was sleeping other than that I slept well

We checked in earlier in the day, so we could get out of the heat for a bit. Roof is covered with tarp in several places, looks to have been that way for awhile. The day clerk was not very friendly, but that’s ok, I’m not there to make lasting friendships with strangers. We went to the room and it was on the east side of the building and was miserably hot. We wound up having to leave the room for several hours to let it cool down. Came back several hours later (like 6 hours) and the room was cool but the tv was broken. Went to the desk and was moved to a different, HOT room for the night. Bed was terrible, lumpy and no support. I basically slept in 30 minute increments until it was time to get up. The room also smelled like urine. The only redeeming feature to the property is the garden the owners keep, it seems to be the only thing they maintenance. Oh! I had to clean the air filter in the second room as well. Came off with enough lint that I could have sculpted a cat out of it.

Roaches, Roaches, and more roaches. This place has an infestation of roaches. It was so bad we did not stay. Roaches were all over the walls and floors. Everywhere! So disgusting! Definitely would never book here again. I dropped the key card off as soon we returned for the night. It was super late and no one was at the front desk but I wanted to ask for a refund. If the owner/manager reads this I would really appreciate a refund!

The lady at the front desk was very weird. She went from smiling and nice to uninterested and rude. We paid $155 for the night. Upon entering the room looked decent. It wasn’t until we checked out the bathroom that realized it was disgusting. It looked like they attempted to remodel with used material. The bathroom door didn’t even close all the way. There was black mold behind the toilet and someone’s leftover bar of soap on top of the corner shower. The floors weren’t mopped and the walls were covered in dirt. The motel didn’t even have a pool but oddly enough they did have a garden with vegetables growing.
