Highly accommodating and friendly front office (ex: let me do an early check in and called me when it was ready). The room was excellent - took me a little while to get used to the lower ceilings, but once you realize it's a snug hobbit hole, it's fantastic. There are lights all over the rooms, including USB chargers on them. No drafts, warm with adjustable heat (good for December in Maine). Shower pressure is top notch!

This inn has been updated and is very modern. The rooms were clean, well appointed and no carpet!! The view of the river is beautiful! The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We are looking forward to staying here again.

We found this hidden gem by chance when looking for a quiet oceanfront place to stay with our family and dog. Home was as advertised and we immediatwly wished we booked a third night. Clean, quiet and right at the waters edge.

Early September I took a weeklong trip and stayed in Elizabeth’s room at Elsa’s. To say it was the perfect choice is an understatement! The property was gorgeous, the room was sweet and cozy and had the perfect view of the harbor (across the street!) The inn keepers were so warm, kind and helpful. And they make THE BEST breakfast. They even wrote me a card on my birthday, it was a solo trip for my 30th and it was so thoughtful and special. The location- did I mention there is a harbor across the street? Right by Acadia, the drives to everything are gorgeous and there are so many perfect little local spots to eat at right up the road. Will definitely be coming back

Very nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Very peaceful.

No need to communicate with property manager as everything was in good condition and self explanatory. Large group arrived at second property which did impact us a bit but we were leaving the next day so not an issue.
