We arrived to the room at 10PM. When we arrived, the bed was unmade, there were crumbs in the sheets, old food in the fridge from another guest, acrylic nails in the trash, so clearly the trash wasn't changed, and there was urine in the toilet.
When brought up to the front desk, we were told there were no other available rooms, and that the housekeeping staff and manager were off duty, and was handed sheets and told to replace the sheets ourselves.
After calling expedia for a refund, they stated that there was nothing expedia could do because they needed permission from the hotel.
Went back and forth from the front desk, several expedia representatives, and finally at 3AM, no thanks to Expedia, but thanks to the wonderful front desk girl, were given an "upgrade" so that we could finally sleep.
Expedia is a joke, they provided no understanding, wanted us to stay in that filthy, uncleaned room, and offered no compensation or recourse, when we just wanted to sleep in a clean bed after struggling with customer service at 3am.
Both the property and Expedia were unacceptable and a joke.
