Sonny Side sits on the Gulf of Mexico with unobstructed views of water and sky! The property has a gulf front, private, heated pool (October through April)! Sit by the pool and watch the waves below you! Enjoy this roomy 4/2 with a large back deck and stairs leading down to the sand and water. The furnishings are modern, and the homes enjoy an airy, beachy feel. It includes a spacious living room with a large flat-screen TV. The two gulf front bedrooms open right up to the beach deck. Step outside and take it all in whenever you want! Wall-mounted TVs in every bedroom.

This property is on a highly desirable through lot. This part of the island only has one row of houses on the gulf side, giving you more privacy and a more personal beach experience. These are rare and rent fast!

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2 maximum limit. $100 pet fee per dog applies.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.

Thanksgiving week

Amazing location on a beautiful quiet beach. We had 8 of us stay here comfortably. Ocean was a little cold in November but the pool stayed warm. Only thing I could complain about is that none of the lights worked on the back porch or pool and it got really dark early there. I would definitely stay here again

Deceiving

The location is awesome&I highly believe the owner has no clue what’s going on here due to her property being managed by someone else. Photos in ad are very deceiving! Very dingy and dirty. Especially for the amount of money you pay-Might be acceptable if it was a few grand less-Black residue that looks like mold by every vent and most light fixtures, back sliding doors especially. Called to complain about this one actually and came and looked. Said I can vacate the place, move to a different one on bay side or get 20% back. Took option C, since we traveled 600 plus miles and paid for ocean side. I even offered to pay for a mold test. (Sure they will cover with paint once we leave) -Back sliding door, only one side kind of works. Other side has a shower suction grip to use as a handle-exhaust vents in bathrooms are clogged full-actual used linen hanging on back of one door-Kitchen blinds don’t work, banged up looks ghetto. Lower kitchen cabinet hanging on side ways. Oven broken bottom drawer. Everything just looks banged up and just dirty and used-Front porch lights hanging, no clothes hangers,the list goes on-No back porch lights work -several deck boards are 1 step away from breaking-washing machine is molding and gross -no furnace filter, dirty nasty one on top of dryer though-several kitchen table chairs are about to fall apart-several deck boards have nails sticking out. -Sept 24,2021 another review also highlights the mold around the Door.I Feel bad for the owner

So nice!

We loved this house! The location is perfect and the house was clean and had all the necessities in the kitchen. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is we went in April and mainly booked for the heated pool as we have 5 year old. The pool never heated up our entire stay, even after someone came out to look at it. Other than that, we loved it.

Items below need attention.

Wanted to mention several problems at the beach house that need attention. When going up the front steps the smaller railing is falling off. Safety hazard. The refrigerator ice maker had a hole in bottom of container. The ice maker side leaked on floor so we turned water off. The left cabinet door under kitchen sink kept falling off. Ceiling cover for speaker on back porch ceiling was falling off. The doors to go from living room to back porch were really difficult to open. Maybe that is a problem in beach houses. We thought they would clean the pool as we were there seven days. It got very nasty. I thought I should bring this to your attention. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Stunning Property

Awesome vacation site - beautiful and quiet

We had a incredibly wonderful time in your beautiful home - loved the heated pool and the proximity to the beach! In all almost picture perfect. The only flaws were we found a couple of beds did not have clean bedding - two of the beds had sand and dog hair in them when we arrived. Not a deal breaker but just a heads up to your company. Thanks again it was an awesome time!

Basic but got the job done

This house was very simple, which is fine. The recent storm did some damage to the property that we weren't made aware of. There was moldy areas around doors, busted shed underneath, the back steps had been torn off (leaving the only access to the beach out the front and around the house), and a screen door that was messed up and just propped up against the house on the back porch. A couple of these were safety issues, especially since we had little kids with us and things like the screen door had sharp and rusted metal areas on it, right where the kids could get to. There were definitely some cleaning issues, like dog poop being on the back porch, water and mold being around the sliding doors, the carpets had not been vacuumed, dog hair being all over the place, and the "clean" towels being damp and musty. Other than these issues, the house served it's purpose of being a place to stay when we weren't at the beach. The island and neighborhood themselves were great. Nice and quiet, perfect if you just want to go to the beach and do nothing else.
