I recently had the pleasure of staying at the New Akao Hotel in Atami, and it was an unforgettable experience. Simple hotel but it has everything you need. The staff is very friendly. I stayed at this hotel to climb Mount Fuji. It was perfect for my needs! Bed is very hard but I like it. Breakfast simple but good. I would stay again!

The parking lot requires a short walk and pedestrian crossing. Staff are friendly - check-in and out were easy. Beautiful lobby.

It is really convenient and just next to the station. The room is clean and tidy and the staff is nice!

We arrived too early to check in but the staff who was there on the morning of 2/11 was so helpful in getting us situated with lockers to store our luggage until check-in time. We appreciated the helpfulness and patience of the staff member that day. She and another staff member were there at check-in at 3:00 and again they were so helpful. We would stay there again. The hotel is also so convenient due to being in walking distance to Atami Station as well as to bus and taxi hubs.
