Northern Lights room: Bathroom in room was dirty and the shower was tiny given the size of the room. Layout of room was really awkward and we needed to move chairs to be able to see the TV. Perhaps thinking of a living room setting would be helpful. No eating area in the room. The heater couldn't get into the igloo so it was a bit chilly in there. We had to get another blanket. Main pool area and hot tub were both dirty and Friday it didn't have any towels and none were brought even after we asked. We enjoyed the lobby and upstairs space to play games as we didn't have a table in our room for eating or playing games. Plenty of parking and within minutes of downtown and attractions of the area. Recommend Bob's Bitchin' BBQ!

The room was clean but, dated. Pool are was fine. No issues there. The breakfast was Okay but, not a lot of varieties. The beds were terrible! I honestly don't try to complain but, my husband and I went with my sister and her husband and out of 2 different rooms both having 2 beds, there was not one comfortable bed. Interesting little place, as long as you're not staying more than 1 night. The people running it are very nice and they're definitely doing their best with what they have to work with.

Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Building is quaint but updated. Electric plugs difficult to use as very tight or very loose and not plentiful. Housekeeping somewhat sloppy (dusting, freezer needed defrosting). All in all our stay was very nice. The host being the highlight.

Breakfast was good, my husband is doing a low carb diet and options were adequate for that. I felt the hotel is quaint and very nostalgic. It was very clean and smelled clean despite being an older property. It is a treasure to have a place that clean while keeping the 1970s vibe. The loft areas in the upper level were nice and cozy. and we noticed the game room with pool table. I was impressed by the room size (standard room). Very sufficient for our needs and would stay again. Employees were also very nice. I would recommend asking for a first floor because of haulling luggage upstairs.

The whole hot tub/pool area was amazing. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked. The staff were above and beyond. The place does need a little maintance vut overall it added to the quaintness. And the plane out front and her history were very interesting and fun.
