Found our new hotel
Just what we needed for an evening to relax and the baby to run around before flying out the following morning. Excellent and fast room service. All the needed convenience were there and for the right price.

Weekend break
Limited parking, but good location. We parked up and got the bus into town . Max 15 mins. Lovely comfortable room, large comfy bed. Spacious bathroom. Rainfall and normal shower. Will definitely book again.

Uniqueness alert-apparently the heat comes on in the evening. We checked in dropped our luggage and the room was great! We went into town, had dinner, beers, came back around 10PM to 35-40C temp in the room. I closed the valve to the radiator entirely and went downstairs to inquire. Was told we could get an extra desk fan for the room. December in Dublin (5C outside), we opened the window and put the fan next to to push cold air into the room. By 3AM I was finally not sweating profusely laying in bed with no covers and only a pair of shorts. We had to leave the drapes open too, and the house outside had very bright lights that kept our room lit up all night. Horrible experience, next to no sleep, and then had a 20 hour travel day that morning.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times before and was looking forward to my stay. Unfortunately due to the weather my ferry was cancelled and I had to reschedule my trip to the new year. The hotel refused to move my booking and charged me the full price. Not good customer service.

Excellent hotel
My family stayed recently and have already booked to return next week. The hotel must have undergone a remodel, as though it retains its old world charm it had many modern conveniences. The family room was a proper family room as opposed to other places we have stayed and the price was very reasonable. It had 3 beds, a mini fridge and an excellent shower/bath. Drumcondra is a lovely, safe neighborhood with loads of walking distance choices for food and drinks. It's a short 20 minute bus ride straight into town and on the main road to and from the airport, with onsite parking. The staff were lovely and the bar fun. It was a truly exceptional stay. Being an expat myself, USA travelers would greatly enjoy this hotel and the neighborhood.
