The Grand Canal was very convenient to getting about the main part of town, and its adjacency to the DART made it easy to get to farther points. The variety of food options, from the daily breakfast to the quick coffee/pick-up food/light lunch in the lobby, to the brewpub attached made it very simple and enjoyable to hang out with my travel companions if we were too tired to venture out. The bathrooms were the nicest I saw on my trip, although I would have loved a bathtub for a soak.

Our stay was very nice! The rooms were spacious and very clean. They even smelled good like minty potpourri! The beds were comfortable and the feed in the restaurant was good! We are from Texas where it stays hot 24/7 so we’re used to having an air conditioner on most of the year. We were a little warm at night but we opened the windows and ran the fan so that helped. Very nice hotel. We would definitely recommend it!

Great Quiet spot, super helpful staff!
Quiet location comfortable and convenient to park, and restaurants. Hotel workers were incredibly friendly and helpful especially behind the front desk, at the small grab and go cafe, and the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was a 30 minute walk from Connolly station. Check in was quick and our room was spacious and clean. A/C , coffee machine, water etc were all provided. Breakfast was good and varied. Highly recommended

One of my biggest regrets with my trip to Ireland was picking this hotel. Firstly the location is great if you have something to do in the vicinity but if you are there on a leisure holiday and want to explore Dublin, the hotel is 25 minutes walk away to the fringe of the city with limited food and entertainment options around. The chair and head board in my room was peeling. The front desk staff are friendly but not helpful or guest centric at all. They seem to be getting by on doing the bare minimum. I picked up my in room feedback card to provide feedback and guess what, it was already completed by a previous guest in another room! How did that get placed there? There was part of a chocolate wrapper on the floor as well so that made me really question the cleanliness of the room as well. I only stayed one night and I'm glad I did, one of my worst hotel experiences.
