We traveled through from MD. The hotel is in a convenient location. The room was nice. Hotel had a nice bar and restaurant. Prices were good. Staff was ok. I have complaints and will not stay again. The hotel had a very strong odor. Smelled strong of Glad products. Rust in the bathroom. Staff and hotel owner talked to much of their personal business while we were trying to relax in the restaurant area. We ran out of toilet paper in the night. It was ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible hotel. Rude staff, who do not know whether there’s microwaves in the room as, “they work the front desk and don’t know what’s in the rooms.” Disgusting dirty rooms, hallways, and public areas

Love that there is a restaurant in the hotel. Our room was good enough. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom could use some updating. An improvement would be to have USB outlets that don’t require a block but not a deal breaker. This will be our favorite hotel when visiting Effingham.
