Just a quick in, sleep, shower and out. Did notice that there was a used wash cloth hanging over shower curtain. Curtains in room were stained. They should be replaced when they look like these did.

The toilet look like somebody had had diarrhea and it was not cleaned. The room smelled so bad of Jim socks and sour carpet that it triggered an asthma attack and I had to leave the class that I drove four hours for the next morning. Go home.

The check in was a quick process which was nice, but the front desk person was just unprofessional and said she only needed to look at my ID because the cameras were watching. The hallway to the room and the room were both dirty. Stains everywhere on the carpet, the ac unit had completely fallen off of the wall and was just laying on the floor. There was a coffee maker with no coffee pot or coffee available. The bathroom had dirt in every single corner of the floor, the bathtub floor was dirty looking and the shower curtain had stains on it. The bathroom fan had a constant screeching noise.

This hotel was old but clean. The room was nice sized and included a soda and a comfy chair. Breakfast was okay and you get what you paid for. Now for the worst part. The front desk clerk and her friend were outside smoking marijuana. The entrance smelled so bad. When she saw us she went in to register us and it was obvious she was high. At that point I got scared and wanted to leave but knew I would lose my money. I think possession of marijuana is legal in Illinois but so is alcohol and you can’t do that while working. I will never stay there again and probably not another Ramada Inn either.

Honestly, the rooms were clean, but the people working there were not friendly. The place was run down and shabby, the free breakfast was barely edible, the towels had holes and were worn thin. I didnt brave the pool.
