I opted for a no-frills hotel as I dived throughout my stay and was never indoors all day. The location is convenient, amenities are limited but were enough for my needs and a simple breakfast is included. Good value, great views if you have an oceanfront room, and an efficient taxi stand is right outside. I would stay here again and feel comfortable making a recommendation.

Friendly staff, excessively noisy, not clean.
Let's start with the good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the beach view was nice to have. However, the room itself was not very clean. Under the bed looked like it has never been cleaned. The shower doors were heavily water stained. The bathroom had sort of a public restroom smell to it if that makes sense. The door to the room did not seal well at all so every night, the room would collect large insects and a lot of mosquitos. I spent a while tracking down the huge bugs as they went under the bed. That's when I noticed it appears the bed never gets cleaned underneath. Huge amounts of webs and dust and insects. I had to stuff towels under the door and that kept the large insects out but but the mosquitos still came as they pleased. Having a beach view was nice to look at but at night when I'm trying to sleep, people were knocking on my window, yelling and making a racket outside my window until midnight and sometimes later. The final night of my stay, there was a group of 3 or 4 dogs that were fighting outside my window from about 11pm until midnight. Not necessarily the hotel's fault but maybe that's just the price you pay for a Beach front hotel in El Nido. I've been in the Philippines for 2 weeks and this is the most expensive place I have stayed and was by far the most disappointing. Won't be returning.

The good: nice location, able to rent a scooter right across the street. The staff were great and friendly and remembered us. We felt safe. The free breakfast was good. It was nice to be able to walk down the beach from the hotel. The bad: unable to check in on time and had to wait, wifi didn’t reach out room, there were times with no hot water. Cleanliness could be improved. Overall rated at a 3 star and felt it was a bit overpriced. If the price was cheaper I would have been ok with all of the other downfalls.

Amazing view, but worst hotel I’ve ever been in
I’ll give 2 stars for the amazing view, but the room was disgusting. The bathroom was like what I imagine you’d find in prison. The shower flooded the entire bathroom, as it wasn’t divided from toilet. They left size 4 dirty and gross slippers to use though🙄. AC was crappy. Dirt and dust everywhere, and to top it off a resident gecko that chirped very loudly all night keeping me up. Oh and rude front desk. View from balcony was magical though

I really enjoyed my stay here. The only issue I encountered was front desk not being able to remagnetize my keycard to my room which was an inconvenience. I was told that the keycards were locked in a safe somewhere and only accessible by management. In my opinion, that was the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve stayed at many hotels across the world and never had I heard such an excuse. One last complaint… The breakfast buffet was disgusting and clearly ownership is trying to cut corners financially. Not a good look for a beachside hotel.

El Nido Beach Hotel provides a comfortable stay with friendly service. The staff, including the owner, are attentive and check on guests daily. They respond quickly to requests and clean rooms daily upon ask. The breakfast buffet is good and starts the day well. The hotel is clean and well-maintained throughout. The location is a big plus - it's quiet and close to the beach, but also near shops and restaurants. While not luxurious, the hotel offers good value with its mix of service, cleanliness, and convenient location. It's a solid choice for travelers wanting a pleasant base to explore El Nido without overspending.

Very convenient for shopping and walking around. Night life was great. This hotel has no elevator so carrying my luggage through 50 2 sets of stairs was a nightmare. Breakfast was amazing. Wouldn’t stay more than 1 night

It's an old property, it's dated. The rooms are clean though, at least mine were. I moved rooms because i decided to stay longer in el nido. It's right on the water and in the middle of everything. Just get past the oldness of the property and you'll be fine. Rhe staff is super friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again.

It’s an outdated rundown hotel. Paid 3 nights in advance for a family suite. Was given a room with a large bed and a twin bed side by side. Mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. Found another nearby hotel and checked out of this one. My payment was non refundable but no way were my friend and I staying here. Front desk clerk was friendly and apologetic. She even had one of the staff help us move out our luggage.
