Somero cabin on Burntside

This peaceful home sits 65 feet from the crystal clear waters of Burntside Lake. Only 10 minutes from town, the home is perfect for enjoying the lake year-round.

The home was recently renovated and features internet, satellite TV, new flooring, new furniture, an updated bathroom, patio, and dock. The lake area has a wide sand beach, two docks, a kayak, and a canoe for use. In the winter, the house is located just around the corner from the snowmobile trail. Life is good.

On a sandy shoreline, the property is uniquely flat, allowing for ease of access during all seasons. The elegant, yet comfortable home is approximately 1500 sq ft and includes 2 bedrooms, a dining table for 6, modern shower, and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen and living room are an open concept, with the bathroom and laundry room are located adjacent to the kitchen. The east bedroom is larger and has a queen bed. The west bedroom is smaller and has two twin beds. The living room has a pull out sofa bed. There is fridge/ freezer for extra cooler space. We supply all your basic kitchen needs, linens, extra blankets/pillows, towels, and basic toilet items.

You will fall in love with the landscaping, dock, beach and outdoor patio. There is a patio table, grill, and several Adirondack chairs outside for your enjoyment. The lake is clear and shallow even quite a distance out from the shore. We will leave you a list of local spots we like to visit on the lake, as well as a map to the snowmobile trail.

The property faces north and overlooks the lake. When conditions are right, it is not uncommon to see northern lights. This was a year round private residence, so it well maintained and comfortable.

You can park several vehicles on site. You are 10 minutes from the Ely DQ. You will take 88 to the Echo Trail to Somero Road. Somero Road is the next left after Bass Lake Trail. If you are in need of a boat rental, let us know, we can provide referrals.
