We stay here four times a year while working in the area. It’s a nice enough hotel central to our customers. We’ve put up with the unprofessional employees dropping F words in normal conversation and the weed smell throughout the hallways. We were even here a few years ago when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night evacuating everyone into the parking lot.
But this stay was the straw that broke the camels back. We had two nights reserved, arrived the first night around 9:30 after working all day and night. Hotel says we don’t have a reservation and are completely booked. Got Expedia on the line and after an hour got into our room. Not a good start.
Then pulled a 17 hour workday the second day, got in at 3:30 am only to be locked out of the room. Hotel says we only had one night booked. They took all our luggage out, ruined our dinner we had in the fridge and threw everything on their back office floor. Worst thing is they opened up my wife’s bag and shoved food and whatever else they could in it.
Long story short, after TWO HOURS of going back and forth we got into a room. Expedia blamed the hotel, the hotel blames Expedia. But sadly neither offered any further incentive to make this right. We simply were permitted to go back into our room. Had to bring all of things back up. BEWARE, the hotel staff are not kind and understanding and will NOT go above and beyond. Expedia is also not what they used to be. They both ruined this stay.
