Great stay and quality for the price
This was one of the nicest (and inexpensive) hotels we stayed at during our trip. It seemed as though this was a brand new hotel. Everything was modern and clean. The room was plenty big and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was our room faced the outside parking lot/street and we heard some strange noises (perhaps from the restaurant/pub nearby?) very late at night/early in the morning. The breakfast had more options than other hotels we had stayed, but it would have been nice to have more fruit offered. Overall, if we were in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good place bad situation.
Hotel was nice , clean, staff was very pleasant. I was pleased until 4am when a diesel truck outside my 1st floor room was started and idled filling my room with fumes that made me cough and eyes burn. No window open. No ac on. Just seeped in. This is not entirely the hotels fault, but a “no idling” sign, or a designated area for diesel trucks to park is warrented.

Good location, clean and comfortable. They had a TV outage on one floor and roof work on the other floor our room type Was available. They were clear up-front and didn’t impact us as we didn’t plan to use the TV.

Needs a new roof
We were on the top floor across from roof access. Areas of the roof had severe water damage. The roof had partially collapsed in hall way and room across from elevator had water pouring in with buckets underneath. There was also a foul smell in the hallway. The parking lot was flooded when we arrived due to severe storm and little alternative parking. Roof repairs began at 6:30 -7:00 AM on the Saturday & Sunday we stayed. Was woken up both days to hammering above our room.

I often stay at this hotel when I travel to Raleigh NC. They recently renovated it and they did a good job. My only complaint is that the common areas are very cold with the air conditioning. I always know to bring an extra sweater.

Staff was friendly and efficient. But there were some issues with the room. The phones don't work, front desk said they haven't worked for a month. Tv showed no signal, eventually got some channels to work, but not local network stations or HBO. Room noisy, could hear loud footsteps from the room above. Carpet was ripped, and lampshade was beaten up.

The stay at this hotel was overall bad. There were people in the parking lot yelling and blasting music late into the night and early in to the morning. My billing state was wrong and the front desk would not correct it. The area around the pool looked unsafe with building and equipment left around.
