We booked the suite at this hotel months in advance. My wife and I have a 17 year old daughter. So we spent the extra money and booked the suite so that there would be plenty of room for everyone. The day we arrived we were informed that that room was no longer available. The hotel said that they reached out to Expedia to inform them of the issue. But no one ever reached out to us. As a last ditch effort the hotel gave us the smallest room possible as that is all they had. We were there for a conference so availability was limited. They tried to say the value of that room was three times the cost as it was six months prior so we would be required to pay the current prices. As we had nowhere else to go, we accepted the room. The hotel through Expedia gave us two of the four nights back which still didn't equate to the price of that room months ago. We stayed at this property last year and was hoping to have the same enjoyment this year but that was not the case. I do not know if I will continue using Expedia moving forward but regardless this issue took what was to be a fun and enjoyable family outing to a cramped, and frustrating miserable time.
Overall, great hotel. A lot of room within the room for a family of 5. Clean, quiet neighbourhood and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again if we ever travel down once again.
Parking was not convenient it was across the street behind a different building had to walk in the pouring rain to get to the hotel . The cook monitor the breakfast food only putting out small amounts at a time even with people waiting for eggs and was told that we should have come to breakfast early . I came down about 8:30am
Nice staff. Wish the water in the shower is stronger (it was really weak and slow during our stay). Bathroom door is a little hard to close. Bed was noisy, every time my kids move it wakes me up. Breakfast options are okay. Like the local ice cream shop that is walking distance from the hotel. Fitness center is okay.
We chose this hotel because it had a on site restaurant. But when we were there for 1 night, the kitchen did not have a cook or food. The breakfast in the am was terrible! The scrambled eggs tasted awful & the choices were awful.
