There is NOTHING to do here. What a boring place. Wreck bar is always closed. Drinks on the beach and at the pools stop at 6. Pools not great. We had a nightmare of a first night. Mermaid trying is weird and they are so rude. What a weird experience. We went with kids but I can't imagine staying here again. Spend a little more money and go to Lago Mar which has fantastic amenities. Location is great that's all I can say that was good. The room that sleeps 5 doesn't. It sleeps 4 unless you get a rollaway.

Stayed for one night before a cruise, a family of three. We arrived past noon and the front desk was kind to give our room early. The room was clean and very well lit (natural sunlight, floor to ceiling windows). After we unpacked, we had a nice lunch at The Salty Siren, a beach front restaurant with a pool, which made our 8 yo very happy. Parents had a nice break as well with the tasty beverages while kids have a great time - win win. The location was nice as we took a stroll along the beach and towards a row of food kiosks (i think it's called a broadwalk). At night we had dinner at The Wreck with the swimming mermaid show. While the food was just average, they made it up with good service and the kids definitely enjoyed the show. This hotel had everything to make this a memorable stay for us. We will certainly be back!

Well we were there 8 nights , out of the 8 night we only got our room cleaned and restocked 4 out the 8 nights . Had to go to the desk to ask for clean towels and soap, toilet paper, coffee pods and water. And two out of the four days when they cleaned the left our door not shut and Locked all the way. The food was absolutely disgusting and ther fryer oil was old and rancid. You could smell and taste it on the food. The girls at the front desk were very nice and quick to help and resolve all problems. But they need a lot of work in all other areas.

I should’ve listened to the other reviews. I spent extra for an ocean view room instead of a partial view. The room was in another building, across the street from the ocean and overlooking a marina. It was a “partial view”, at best. When I called to complain, I was told that I should have gone to a hotel with rooms with an actual ocean view & that they couldn’t change our room or give any discounts. We got in at 10 & there was only one place to get a very limited amount of food. It was a bar with a lot of loud, drunk people, spilling into the lobby. I ended up spending almost $80 on a personal pizza, wings & a weak drink. There was only decaffeinated coffee in the room. The next evening, housekeeping came to ask if we needed anything. I asked for regular coffee and she couldn’t find any. The ice machine on our floor was broken, so we had to go looking for ice. We didn’t see housekeeping again until I called to ask for more towels on our last night there. On our last day, we decided to try one of the other 3 restaurants. 2 of them were closed by 2pm. We ended up eating at one of the few tables by the pool & the food was good. The only redeeming quality was the beach, which was quite a walk from the room. By the time we got there at 10, there were no chairs available, so we put our towels on the beach. I, seriously considered taking the loss, & going to a different hotel. Believe the reviews & book a room at a hotel with good reviews. Lesson learned.

This property was exceptional! And the staff was so accommodating easy going! I really appreciated that it was right in the beach, had two pools, and bars that included a really fun mermaid show. We walked down the street to the right and found restaurants and a fun affordable Queen cruise. My daughter was there for a volleyball tournament and the whole team came over and we played beach volleyball right next to the property. It was a blast. The umbrella rentals are a must and pretty affordable. I was so happy with our whole experience!

I wanted to shorten our reservation by 1 day. You would think this would be simple but B Ocean and Expedia would not cooperate. B Ocean does not deal with any reservations and points you to Expedia. Expedia tries to contact the manager at B Ocean to get "approval" without sucess. Its a consumer nightmare! Stay away!!!

No house keeping was provided , the toilet was not working , the ceiling in the shower is leaking from upstairs , the toilet paper holder was broken, valet only parking $55 a day after paying for hotel fees that should be included , pool wasn’t enough space, beach did not have enough umbrellas for us .

Upon arrival, we were told our check-in was at 4 PM, but even though we arrived at 4:30 PM, our room was not yet ready. As a courtesy for the inconvenience, we were granted an extra hour for check-out. While waiting, we took our bags to the beach and asked for beach chairs, which were supposed to be included with the resort amenities. However, the young men managing the chairs initially told us it would be $100 for two chairs. When we declined, they laughed and said they were joking. It felt like they were trying to hustle unsuspecting tourists, which left a bad impression.We finally received a call around 5:30 PM that our room was ready. The room itself was clean and had a great view. However, the bathroom design was not ideal — there was no shower door, and water would run along the shower curb, flooding the bathroom floor. We had to use several towels to manage the water.The next morning, we headed down to the pool but were told they were out of towels and that fresh ones would arrive at 8 AM. After waiting until 8:30 AM with no towels in sight, we ended up going to the beach instead and were finally able to get towels around 9:45 AM on our way back.One major downside was the valet parking, which costs $55 per night. Not only is the price high, but the service was also slow, especially during busy morning hours when many guests were checking out or leaving.All in all, our experience at B Ocean Resort was average.
