Nice change from nightmare hotel

I was very happy with the greeting I received. Marshall was phenomenal, thank you so much for your help. I was relieved that I was able to check in early. The pool area was very nice and food was delicious.I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. thanks again

I dont usually write reviews, however I felt compelled to write this one. Check in process was smooth even though we showed up straight off of the cruise ship. They were very accommodating and friendly. The low reviews was due to the room itself. Upon check in we were told that the room had just been cleaned. When we walked into the room it was an overwhelming musty smell! The cleaning staff was still in the hallway so we asked for spray or something to try and help the musty smell. You cannot open the windows so airing out the room was not an option, but it was needed. She sprayed two spays and it masked the smell briefly , but you could still smell it. We were only staying one night as our flights were set to leave at 6am. So we tried to ignore the smell. After leaving and coming back a few hours later it was like not only was the air freshener gone, but the musty smell was dramatically worse. At this point it is 730 or 8 and the room was UNINHABITABLE. We brought this up to the front desk and was told the cleaning staff had gone for the day and that the maintenence man could come to the room and spray. To which we replied the cleaning lady had sprayed earlier that day and it didnt help. After the realization there would be no other option we walked to the elevator and spoke with the manager. We informed her of our issue to which she replied she was on her way to another room but would look into our issue and would call lur room with a resolution. No follow up!

I liked most the convenient location and the quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. All my encounters with the staff from any department was top notch. Kudos to the amazing employees who work at this location. What I did not like was the fact they do not offer complimentary water. Also, the Cleanliness of the room at checkin could have been better. The cleanliness outside could also be improved especially around the entrance and the adjacent walkways. Overall it is a 4 for me.

Fantastic Stay at Holiday Inn Fort Lauderdale Airp

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport by IHG and had a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The front desk was efficient and friendly, making check-in a breeze—even after a long flight. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a super comfortable bed and everything I needed to relax. I especially appreciated the modern decor, fast Wi-Fi, and ample USB ports for charging devices. Housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub area, surrounded by lush landscaping that gave it a resort-like feel. I also made use of the 24-hour fitness center, which was clean and well-equipped. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with both hot and cold options, and the service there was just as great as everywhere else in the hotel. The location is perfect—close to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, with a free shuttle service that made airport transfers stress-free. It’s also a short drive to the beach, cruise port, and many restaurants and shops, which made exploring the area easy and convenient.
