Somehow there was blood on the bathroom light switches when we checked in. Literally a biohazard. Aside from that property was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, not much to complain about.

The place is a perfect little “mini Vegas” stay-cay trip. The old hotel is well… old but still cool because of the better price/ night & is right next to the food court. However the price on the weekend is not worth it IMO. Can stay close by for cheaper & just go to casino / pay to use the pool.

The ground views upon arrival are amazing. I would just inform everyone this property has 3 hotels within its ground. The hard rock, oasis and the guitar when booking you are just shown the available rooms not realizing you are not selecting the hotel you will actually be staying in. We booked this property using Expedia, again when selecting we selected a room with a pool view unaware the grounds had 3 hotels. Our reservation was placed in the hard rock section, when checked in we were greeted friendly, we explained it was our first visit, and was provided with a map and where to eat. Due to the inclement weather the main pools had been closed. I would recommend renting a car not much to do near the hotel everything is far. Regarding the cleanliness I guess on the hard rock part they can up their game. We had an open soap with hair on it and tissue still stuck on the peep hole from the previous guest. Restaurants are amazing, food court also. Overall we would recommend the guitar and oasis side if you plan to stay there. The pools on that side way more amazing and was the best part of our last day.

We had a great time on our honeymoon. The hand held shower head didn’t work which was a bummer but the water pressure made up for it. Probably best water pressure in a shower I’ve ever experienced. I ordered rose petals for the room for $75 and they were synthetic and left red marks on my clothing. Housekeeping never cleaned the room the only full day we were there so we were stuck with the rose petals. The dining and entertainment was superb. Club was closed Wednesday night but we had fun at PLA. Overall I would return to visit but I wouldn’t stay there overnight. Too much money for too little. It’s a mixed review but the basics were neglected.
