We arrived early and were not able to check in, which is understandable, so the person at the front desk told us we could go down to the beach and handed us towels and wristbands. When we came back from the beach to check in, we were charged $103 resort fee for having access to the beach. We were not told about the fee prior. The only outlets in our room were behind one of the beds and in the bathroom. We had move the bed away from the wall to access the outlet. In our room, the water lines in the shower are not hooked up properly. Hot is not hot and cold is freezing. we were told they had to reset the water heater and that may take a long time for the hot water to work. As it turns out, the shower knobs were not marked properly and you had to keep the knob in the center to get hot water. The next day the hotel "engineer" told me that the building was built in 1950 and the pipes don't work like modern hotels. Compared to the two hotels next door, this place appeared run down and old.

Great value on the beach. Our view was wonderful. I cannot express how helpful staff was. I especially want to point out Dylan and Lyric. The on site restaurant was also great. Parking can be a bit tough during busy seasons.

The room was dated, but large. The balcony is very shallow which makes it challenging to get comfortable; however, the view is amazing. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet seat was not clean and there was hair in the shower. There is a lack of electrical sockets near the bed. An extension cord ran under the bed to service the other side of the bed and every time the cord was touched everything plugged into it lost power to include the light, clock, and cellphone charger. It was frustrating not having enough electrical sockets. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine were provided. They came in handy. Staff were nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Not a bad place to stay, but I would not return.

Very convenient to the beach, clean room, just what you need it to be: a motel style hotel with minimal frills. The nicest staff. Right on the beach. Spacious yet dated rooms. Tiny balcony, opt for the suites. No complaints just have to note it is what it is and nothing more. Make the best of it being right on the beach.

This is a cute little hotel right on the sand. It's a little bit old, but the room was roomy and comfortable, with drop dead gorgeous beach views and all the amenities i needed (fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Special shoutout to all of the staff- both at the front desk & the restaurant! Everyone was so friendly and helpful- really brightened my day!

When I read the reviews I thought this is too good to be true. But it wasn't. Sun Tower exceeded our expectations! We needed a budget conscious space in this exact location on the beach with separate sleeping areas and access to a kitchenette. Per the reviews the size of the hotel make it great for parents w/ kids. Because its small it does feel like home away from home and yes staff treat you like they've known you forever. We felt safe as a mom alone with two kids and it was easy to supervise kids even as I worked. Everything was clean, quaint, manageable, convenient and I could not have asked for more except for perhaps dedicated child care! I have never stayed in a hotel where things was as quiet, free of noise from other rooms or the exterior corridor even w/ a restaurant nearby. Loved the architecture of the older building, the renovations show how much they care about upkeep. Clean beyond belief and staff was extremely diverse, kind, professional, competent - a hard combination to find! The beach is gorgeous and access to amenities onsite just wowed for the price. Grocery delivery and Uber was a breeze. Outside the window an iguana family was lovely entertainment. Left important documents behind and staff immediately identified, turned in, called, AND arranged return at no fee! If you're not convinced see Google for more great reviews. Praying I get to go back one day! Score.
