I was on vacation with my two daughters. I know that they were hit by a hurricane a few years ago. Nowhere in the description when I book the hotel does it say that they are still working on getting the area open and safe. The property itself was fine, but there are no lights on the road no transportation, except Ubers and not walking distance at night to the restaurants. Many stores and the one or two restaurants in the vicinity were closed. This is very disappointing. I booked for five nights and I wanted to cancel my last 3 to 4 nights after experiencing this on the first day. The hotel was not accommodating and penalized me for one night which was $271 and change. That is a high price to be penalized when you’re canceling for unsafe reasons I don’t recommend the hotel for the fact that it is so desolate. You are better off staying at the Margaritaville, which is right next door to many restaurants and very lit up.!! I had high hopes and was very disappointed!!!

Great holiday vacation in the sun
We had a wonderful vacation the week before Christmas. The staff was super friendly. Cabanas poolside bar was fun and had great live music. The suite was so comfortable and quiet. On going beach restoration and construction nearby after a hurricane was expected and did not impact our trip at all. We will definitely stay here again.

New Favorite
Even though there is construction going on and it was noisy one day. This hotel is one of my new favorites. Room was wonderful, beautiful, and very clean. Virw was amazing and the staff really cares. Ft Myers is still recovering so it was nice to support the businesses. Hot tub could of used more bubbles. Both upstairs and downstairs bartenders and servers amazing. What a great time we had.

Fort Myers Beach has not recovered from their hurricanes. Most dining is out of food trucks. Getting on or off the area takes forever due to construction and very limited road access.

Aside for being on the expensive side, the property and staff were wonderful. We were allowed to check in about 2 hours earlier, and check out 1/2 hr later. The food and drinks at the restaurant downstairs were also very good. I will def stay again here again, they are worth rhe price.

Our check in was fast and easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach. But the best part was the food and service. We stayed 3 days and had breakfast at Mojo's, and for lunch and dinner we ate at Cabanas. The food was really good. And if you can find waitress Trish, find out what area she is serving and sit in her area.

Very nice hotel. I did move after day 1 to get the Beach view. There was a sand sculpting festival the Hotel sponsored. I could watch the carving from my balcony. Definitely a 10. And Vicky was very helpful. The area around the hotel is still recovering from the 3 hurricanes earlier this year. Time Square is within walking distance from the hotel.

I booked a 4 day stay. I did switch rooms after the first day moving to the beach side. Pool view was nothing but traffic noise. Tried to enter the room day 2&3 needed new room key each day. It kept locking me out. Front desk was very rude every time. Having recently experienced knee surgery, making the process very painful.
