Boa localização mas precisa de reforma
Ótima localização e bom atendimento, mas as instalações precisam de renovação. Os revestimentos estão estragados no restaurante e banheiro do quarto. Os móveis também estão antigos. A cama é boa, mas o chuveiro não esquentou.

Hotel wasn’t the best but the staff was very nice. The were only two elevators and one of them was constantly out of order causing huge line ups in the small lobby. There were tons of construction going on in front of the building which made taxis and Ubers go through a lot of stress to pick us up.
Stay away, dirty elevators, rooms severely in need of renovation, unsanitary breakfast area, and poor food in general. The also up-charge at every opportunity. Employees confide that that hate working there. No hope for this hotel under current upper management There are much better hotels for the money on this strip.I have been travelling to Brazil and Nordeste for 25 years ans speak the language, and this has to be my worst hotel in memory.
A quick overnight stay in Fortaleza. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the mornnng was delicious. Great location. It is on the beach -perfect for our morning walk.
The Ponta Mar hotel was great for our stop in Fortaleza! It is centrally located with the beach in front of the hotel and restaurants located nearby. We were able to walk most places (night market, dinner, beach, etc) and it was easy to catch a taxi/Uber. The hotel was clean. The bathroom was big enough and also clean. The pool was nice though we didn’t take advantage of it. And breakfast was a nice bonus. We appreciated little benefits like beach/pool towels being provided by reception, etc.
Terrible service. We said many times that the air conditioning was blowing really cold on out face and that we want to open the window but the windows was locked. We called and request many times for them to fixed and they Did not care. Also nobody answer the phone at the hotel specially when you need to call the front desk. Poor service. Very hot and noisy room. The management is very poor and I am definitely not coming back again! I complain many times about my room and the management just pretend that everything was solved and ok. Our refrigerator was empty and by the time of the check out they were charging for 4 bottles of water that we did not even seen in the room.
The beds were clean but the room itself was very dirty !
NEVER EVER AGAIN! Avoid this hotel!!! Breakfast was just terrible. When you ask for a room service the price you see is not the price you pay in the end. They were charging the pizza paper package... I never seen this before anywhere in the world. I WORK ON HOTEL INDUSTRY AND THIS HOTEL WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

No blankets..you have to ask..if they burning it...they turn the light off on you fate waiting 40 minutes for an orange juice cause it closing time in the restaurant...garage is small...you better come back to hotel early if you want to park in the garage...restaurant service is horrible...they act like they are doing you a favor....do not recommend at all
Old Hotel - good location and great View! Safe in my room was broken and their laundry prices is a ripoff! (you dont see prices until you get it back!) English level by staff was very poor.
I’m definitely not staying there again. Could be a 5 star hotel if under proper management. I got there 10 hours past check in time to a dirty bedroom. The hotel it self didn’t smell good. Old and not kept, old bathrooms, stained mirrors, I even wanted to checkout but they wouldn’t refund me. So they gave me another bedroom that was clean but still too old, a/c fan flap was broken, toilet not flushing properly, very greasy windows, one of my colleagues that booked the same hotel wouldn’t stay and left. Definitely don’t recommend.
Hotel facilities were ok. My shower did not have any pressure. Breakfast was good. They never re-stock your room fridge so if you are out of waters you need to call and have it done. Sometimes you have to call multiple times to get something done. Internet is free but basically doesn't work. If you are staying there for business I would recommend something more corporate if that's even possible in Fortaleza.

O hotel foi vendido, iria fechar, tudo muito precário e sujo
Péssima. Falta de comprometimento com os hóspedes. Funcionários mal educados, despreparados para executar seu mister. Falta de água a toalhas; serviço de limpeza inexistente; café da manhã decepcionante, você espera 20 minutos para pedir um tapioca. A rede Hotels.com tem que retirar, imediatamente, a indicação desse estabelecimento de sua plataforma.
Primeiro q chegamos não tinha toalhas no quarto, fui a recepção disseram q não tinha toalha no hotel inteiro e não demostraram nada de preocupação. Passamos dois dias com um toalha de rosto, até q um sr q fica nos corredores conseguiu uma toalha só. Atendimento dos funcionários péssimo! Tirando as moças q nos recebem na entrada do café da manhã, e as 2 camareiras, e o o rapaz q faz o checkout. O restante péssimo atendimento. Não recomendo o hotel diária cara e atendimento péssimo!

Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos. O hotel, entretanto, tem estrutura muito antiga. As toalhas de banho eram ruins, o colchão também ruim.
Hotel excelente, o quarto que nos deram a condensadora do ar condicionado fazia muito barulho, café fenomenal, atendimento ótimo tanso no check-in quanto no check-out.
Hotel é uma catástrofe! Quarto sujo, frigobar vazio, 1h esperando pelo checkin (alegando demora do hotéis.com) e quartos sem toalhas! Quando solicitamos toalhas de banho e rosto,
Trouxeram lençóis pois as toalhas acabaram…tudo isso p 500,00 a diária! Absurdo
