Very good

It’s a neat place but the walls are really thin. You can hear everyone in the surrounding rooms and the hallway. Having said that, the staff is great. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. And it’s in the middle of a quaint little town. And the history of the inn is amazing. I would definitely stay here again but would request not to be next to anyone.

Unique hotel built in the mid 19th century. Comfortable bedding and quiet primes is. Cheerful staff, willing to give good advice about Littleton and its offering. The hotel is smack in the middle of the historic area with free parking in the back but a convenient loading zone directly at the front desk. We stayed 2 nights, off season. As with all old buildings, we noticed a few quirks but they multiplied the charm. Bath was updated and room large and comfy.

We read the reviews and were expecting an old, quirky building. What we weren’t expecting was lack of upkeep to make the stay acceptable. Our room was at the top of the staircase so we heard everything from discussions at the front desk to every person who came upstairs. The door was not only paper thin but it also wasn’t installed properly so there was a gap at the top.
The other issue was that the room was freezing. We looked for a thermostat and found a space heater in the closet. I must’ve missed that in the room amenities but I expect a room with actual heat. The space heater ran for hours before our room starts warming up. We had to shut the bathroom door because that seemed to be where the cold was coming from. The blinds were moving from the wind outside.
And finally, the shower is very broken. The diverter doesn’t fully work so more water comes out of the tub faucet than the shower head. I barely got all the soap off.
The good - The bed was quite comfortable. And the room was very clean.

I realize it’s an old quaint inn but the electrical wiring situation is not good. Multiple things are plugged into extension cords which appears to be a safety hazard. I had to unplug the TV to be able to plug the coffee pot in. The location is convenient though for activities in Littleton and the bed was comfortable.
This place was built in 1843 and has seen many changes and upgrades over the decades. It’s in surprisingly good shape but still an old building. It’s clean and the staff is great. It has amazing history and lots of charm. But it’s comfortable enough and the price is right! Keep all this mind and you’ll enjoy it.
Wonderful historical Inn with amazing charm. Room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. This place has everything you would want when staying in a 150 year old structure but with a great balance of modern amenities. I cant wait to visit again.

Charming old hotel. We appreciated the young man who carried our luggage down 3 flights the morning we checked out. Wish he had been there the night we checked in!
Very quaint hotel, definitely older but with lots of charm if you appreciate that kinda stuff

Quirky, but good
The staff was amazing, and the hotel was clean. The building is 180 years old, and has some interesting sags in the floors, but that adds to the charm.
I read the reviews before booking, and know it’s a historic building, I required a/c, which their info confirms, but that’s false. Rooms have those window units, but not all rooms. Sadly our room didn’t have it, and there was a street light that shown like the sun into our hot room. I could see where a pull down shade existed but none existed. The beds were AWFUL!! The receptionist seemed professional enough but why put your guests in such a subpar room when you have other rooms available? This all might be tenable if it were an $100 a night room but it was double that. I am a roll with it human, but this place missed the mark. Stay away from room 18.
Hotel is very old and not been renovated. I booked a “classic” room and it was the size of a closet. The person at the front desk was very helpful and got us to a different room that was more appropriate. Bathrooms were very small and it took forever for the water to heat up.
I would not stay in this hotel again
