Located on its own hill, you would be treated to such stunning views of the surrounding landscape from its front porch. Its bedrooms are the coziest you could ever find, like you've never left the confines of your own homes. To top it off, you would be personally welcomed and taken care of by the owners who live on-site.

All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. The location is stunning. The home is warm, welcoming and comfortable inside and out. We Loved the daily sightings og the Longhorns, Deer, and the owners dogs. Close enough to town to enjoy it, and far enough away to enjoy the peaceful setting.

We knew the moment we drove up the road to the house, it was special! The sweet dog greeting us was the icing upon the cake. While it was cold and cloudy, each morning we watched the sunrise across the expanse- amazing. thank you ! It was a special place and I am deeply grateful we took a chance and stayed there!!

Our new favorite place near Fredricksburg

This is a wonderful location. Close enough to Fredricksburg, but not too close. The natural bearuty of the place is amazing. My wife loved all the bird feeders and the small herd of longhorn cattle that roamed across the fence. It was clean, quiet, and had plenty of room.

Lucky Star Ranch is a Star!

Lovely stay in Texas High Country. The cottage is just right. The tasteful decor and thoughtful amenities made for a comfy place to come "home" to. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Will stay again.

Rooms with a view

We were 3 couples staying at Lucky Star Ranch guest house and we couldn’t have ask for a better stay. Plenty of wildlife to view, very clean house and very comfortable. Just a short drive into town and the views from the front porch were amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Place

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for a 50th birthday getaway. The house was accurately described, and we absolutely loved it! They said whenever we are back in FBG, we will only stay here. From the yummy banana bread, nice bottle of wine, this place has everything you need and more. The beds were the most comfortable beds ever. Thank you for being such great hosts, and we can't wait to come back!

Best Ever!

By far the best place I have rented! Beautiful location, house, scenery! Also one of the easiest check ins we have ever had. We loved the deer, longhorns and your sweet little dog. There were snacks and drinks waiting for us. I had had an issue come up because of a family emergency with one of us but it was not a problem and they were so gracious and moved the date to help us. Girls Retirement Trip

Lucky Star was the perfect retreat for myself and two friends, all of which had recently retired. We wanted a trip in the hill country and this location did not disappoint! The hilltop view was beautiful and relaxing! It was nice to feed the deer corn and watch the birds at the bird feeders, all with plenty of seating on the porch or front lawn. It was great that we were all able to have the privacy of our own bedroom, each individually designed with the cutest personality, and a chocolate by our bedside. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including morning coffee. We thank you for the wine and the nut bread which was a delightful touch at the end of our daily hiking adventures. The only problem is that we weren't able to stay longer but certainly hope to be back again!

Country living at its best

We really enjoyed staying at Lucky Ranch. Animals greeted us the first morning as if they were saying “Welcome!” 😁 When comparing with other rentals available when booking, I chose the Lucky Ranch because of its high reviews on cleanliness and it did not dissapoint! It was the perfect house for our family of 4 to enjoy a little bit of country living.

Incredible House

My wife, son, and I were out in the area for Spring Break. I stumbled on Lucky Star Ranch GH and I’m so glad I did. What an awesome place to spend some down time. Close to Fredericksburg and a couple of state parks. Tranquil and relaxing location feeding the deer and hanging out with Fred (the mascot long horn). My only regret is we didn’t stay here all week! We will be back.

The View

We loved this place! The view is amazing! I am a beach lover but this place has the same calming and relaxing affect! We enjoyed seeing the longhorns and deer daily. The property and all the little extras they have make it so cozy. We hope to get back to visit soon.

Amazing View!

A spectacular Hill Country view! Sunrise was phenomenal! Deer, longhorns, birds, stargazing, etc…. Very comfy, well furnished, and well maintained. Nice little touches such as fresh muffins, and deer corn. Only thing that is missing is an outdoor fire pit or fire place (it was a cold weekend)…
