The staff seemed okay but gave us a room with no locks on the door. When I went back and requested another room the next room was even worse no locks on door or furniture in the room. It was so creepy and all I needed was somewhere to get some sleep for a few hours. But I wasn’t gone risk my life. No thank you

Stains on walls, toilet paper and tape over smoke alarm, flies came out of the sink. Cut our stay short because we couldn’t deal with the filth and the incessant barking of dogs from another guest. Front desk didn’t give a receipt but we were supposed to be refunded. Still haven’t seen the refund.

It was a place to sleep for a few hours. The heater worked but set off the fire alarm. Turned the heater off, the alarm stopped, and it wasn’t an issue after that.

When we arrived, the first impression was not good, but we decided to give it a try. When we arrived at the back the building where our room was, there were cigars ends and beer cans everywhere, not only that there were guests drinking on the parking lot. The room was dirty, bathroom walls were patch, bathtub pain was peeling, the walls were dirty. We had to go into the main office twice because every time we stepped out our key cards wouldn't work; not even a sorry was said. Unfortunately, we had 2 motorcycles with us and there were no hotels near us with availability for those days, so we had to stay. The second night there were people knocking at our door on 3 different occasions in the middle of the night. WE LEFT THAT MORNING! We had to cut short our vacations thanks to the poor conditions and security of this place.

Motel 6 Gainesville dumpster
I have so much to say that I don't know where to start, but the first and most important thing is that you DO NOT stay at this MOTEL 6 and if you have time continue reading. We arrived on Friday afternoon and they gave us the 1st room, when I entered I found that the beds were not made, meaning that they had not cleaned the room and in addition it had double beds and I asked for only one large bed. [photo1] I immediately demanded to be changed rooms and they gave me room 148, the only thing I did was enter the people who were staying in the room next door were drinking beer and smoking marijuana at the door of my room, on the other side, meaning the other room next door, there were workers using wood cutters at 8 pm at night, because it was so late I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the room myself. The next day they changed my room again to 103 and although it was better, the floors were dirty. In conclusion, this is the second and last time I use this filthy and dirty roadside hotel.
