Our stay here at the Best Western Plus in Gilroy was fair. We had a place to sleep after a long day of travel and touring. The main complaint is that the bathroom was not clean and the plumbing was broken. The shower handle literally came off in my hand when I tried to take a shower. The regular faucet never stopped dripping during our entire stay. Plus, there was a bunch of hair left on top of one of the shelves in the bathroom. Even after I brought it to the attention of the desk clerk, housekeeping did not remove it. The best thing about the hotel was the continental breakfast. That was at least acceptable.

The reception area is great, the dining area & breakfast area was great. out door area too, the rooms were clean. the only thing I didn't like was the pool area it needs to be updated, the gated doors were not working with our room key for any of the guests . Plus I had to call and complain to the office that the people above me were having really loud intercourse & I didn't get any sleep I was in the room with my 6y old grand daughter and all I got was a we are sorry not a discount or a how can we make this stay better for you . I had to check out early and come home to sleep.

Hotel decent, don't count on breakfast
Breakfast should say, for best selection, come early as items will not be refilled. That even includes milk. I as well as three of my grandchildren did not get milk for breakfast. Therefore not only were they out of pancakes, but cereal without milk isn't much good either.

We have a nice and quiet night. Beds are really comfortable. The kids loved the complimentary cookies in the lobby. We had the family suite with connecting rooms which was really convenient. The down side was that they need to do some repairs and updating to rooms. For example the non working and outdated fireplace, cracks in the walls and poor patch work on the ceiling in our room from a what looks like an old leak. Other than that our stay was very restful. Black bear dinner right next door and gas stations a plus.
