Beautiful hotel in a picturesque location
We had an overnight stay at The Haycock on our way north. We chose this hotel as it was conveniently located just off the A1 in a small picturesque village. The hotel has been beautifully restored to a high standard and the attention to detail in the decor and service during our stay made for a very comfortable visit. Our meals were delicious and we loved that there were a variety of areas you could eat around the hotel including the beautiful gardens. We will definitely stay again.

Comfortable suite, comfy bed and sofa. Could have benefited from a side table for tea etc by the sofa. Despite works still being carried out it did not interfere with our stay. Beautiful building. Pretty village.
