Comfortable stay on north shore
This was a 3 days stop over on a longer road trip. The resort is big with lots of amenities. Our stay included 4th of july so was very busy. At times was difficult to find parking and restaurant reservations were tough. One of the bedrooms had an amazing view of lake superior. Reading a book while looking out the window was a perfect combo. The lake walk was also fabulous. We didnt bring our dogs but seems to be very pet friendly. There were some small maintenance issues (eg: one window crank didnt work, ceiling fan broken but ac ok). Safe, clean, comfortable and great location

This clean, light-filled room had a beautiful, comfortable bed and nice walk-in shower. I appreciated the real coffee mugs next to the coffee maker! I’m so tired of the disposable cups I usually find in hotel rooms.

An absolutely amazing trip! My husband and I spent a 4 day weekend there and I would highly recommend. So much to at the resort. We had a suite that had an in room spa and huge glass windows that overlooked the lake. So relaxing and the staff was so kind!

Even though the website said there were no elevators, it would have been valuable for the check in staff to say the unit we were in required three flights of stairs. We are in our 80s and it was quite difficult to manage. Also the chairs in the room were very hard and uncomfortable to sit in and read.
