Basically, I liked the hotrl location. It allowed access to different areas in the city. The main thing that concerned me was the congregation of a group of men at night. I was skeptical going out after a certain time. I did not feel threatened but a little uneasy to go to my car.

My stay was good. Had difficulty with a desk chair. Having back issues, I asked for another one. Never got it. Very uncomfortable sitting. I stayed 3 nights.
I really enjoy this hotel compared to the last one I was in. This hotel is more modern, it offers amenities, it is easier to get in and out, a great location to the hospital, dining places, and to places I need to go. The staff is very friendly!
We got there late in the evening the front desk gentleman was nice. We got to the room it was around midnight. The carpet was wet like it had been cleaned and all of the surfaces were damp, sheets desk and bathroom. Everything was just sticky. We turned on the ac it took the room about 2 hours to get to a comfortable temperature.
When we checked out in the morning we were informed that the room we stayed in should have been closed for a few days due to carpet cleaning. They apologized but didn’t offer to discount the room or anything. We will not be staying there ever again.

the area around the refrigerator contained leaves from last fall, and of course after the game fans were loud, which I understand you have no control over.
This property was disgusting. It stunk of cigarettes in the room although it’s supposed to be a nonsmoking property and there was a dirty sock on the floor. Condition of the property is run down with peeling wall paper, mirrors were filthy, there were visible handprints on the upholstered headboard and the air conditioning barely worked. The list goes on….it was awful.
This property is very convenient to the hospital as it is across the street. It is not a very old facility as I put my stepson up there when he came to town while his father was having a procedure. It was a fairly new facility then, maybe a year or less. The staff was nice and courteous and it was oh so clean. .... BUT NOW ..... What three years does to a facility!!! ... I assume they have changed hands in management, as the nice employees are from the "hood" and act like it! ... They are far from courteous, and they are so very LOUD! And the cleaning to the facility is horrendous! I had rented the room as my husband and I had an event to attend and could not make it back to change in time.... Oh my lord... While I was taking a shower I looked up and saw someones used soap and shampoo... This was September and they still had Christmas decorations out. There is a definite lack of leadership at this facility. And very low expectations toward cleanliness.
I like the surrounding building which appeared well kept. I didn't like the many cigarette butts lying on the ground right in front of the entrance way. There has to be a better way in discarding cigarettes. Also smoking in front of the building is not conducive to feeling safe (healthwise for breathing). Otherwise everything else was fine.
