Very good

Hotel rooms are pretty updated which is a plus but the service needs a huge improvement. No one is ever at the front desk. You have to wait for them to come out from the back office or say hello. Wifi is pretty bad as well. Goes in and out quite often. The blow dryer in our room was broken as it was only blowing out cold air, mind you, we are in December and the outside temperature was about 30°. My wife called the front desk for about 10 minutes from the room and no one ever answered. Then she called the main number and after several tries, we reached someone only to tell us that the maintenance person had already left and they’d see if there was something they could do. We never heard back. The least they could have done is given us access to an empty room to use it since the dryers are attached to the wall. Lastly, 2 of the towels left had stains on them and since they dont answer the phones, i had to drive in the cold rain to the office to get fresh towels. Besides those issues, it went pretty well for 2 nights.
Stay was good. Room was neat n clean. They allowed early check-in.
It would be better if reception can provide coins for laundry. We could only do one round of wash n dry as they provided coins only for 3$.
The outdoor temperature was around 40F. I booked this hotel because this is the nearest one to west entrance of the Yosemite park. We were first assigned to Room 204, the heater was able to turn on, it was warm yet not blowing any hot air out. I told the front desk about the problem then he gave us room 305. The heater was not able to turn on at all. The front desk guy said that the AC unit was new, I should reset the power cord button. I did reset the button and unplug /replug the power cord. It was still now working. I asked the front desk to come with me and check it himself. He said that he is not allowed to leave front desk, and he is not maintenance guy. I said that I have to cancel the reservation if there is no heat. He said, “you can’t cancel reservation, I will just give you another room.” He did come with me to room 305 and found out that the heater was not able to turn on even after he set the temperature to 80F. He said that the temperature need to be set at least a few degrees higher than the target temperature. He opened the front cover of the heater and I found it full of dirt. We tried Room 401 and the AC/heater was working. I had been to the front desk 3 times. For Two times that I had to wait there for a good 5-10 minutes after ringing the bell till he came down from upstairs. My son tried to order something warm for dinner at 7pm. However the nearby restaurant in the same block was closed. We end up just eat some cold snacks.
Upon arrival into our room we could not get the heat to work, we left and went to dinner in hopes it would warm up, had it set to the highest temperature as suggested by staff. It was not blowing hot air, only cold. The room thermostat said it was 63, which I have a photo of for proof. We came back from dinner about 2 hours later and see that our room is still cold and has not warmed at all. We tried calling the front desk twice and no one answered. Luckily someone was still at the desk and we informed them the heat was not working, they integrated us as if we were not smart enough to work a simple thermostat asking if we had turned the thermostat up all the way we said yes, and then pestered us again with more questions, saying well what did you turn it to? We replied again all the way up, and they acted so carelessly stating to give it time and we said we had. They did not seem to want to help us at all. They explained there was nothing they can do and we were just baffled that we paid $200 for a room for one night and to not have working heat is absurd. We said this would not work and he handed us a wall plug in space heater and said here you go, this is all I can do.
I woke up multiple times freezing, continuing to turn off and on the thermostat as suggested by the front desk to “reset the unit” which I should not even have to do. Water was shut off and not working till 7am either… multiple calls and emails with no response to help resolve this issue.
Beautiful setting on main road into Yosemite. We were there in off season so limited food options next door. No restaurant on property.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Front staff not very friendly, front desk not open until 9am. Fresh coffee would have been nice. Rooms were ok and clean. Fridge in room very loud, constantly running. Wifi poor. Restaurant next door was fantastic, super friendly and delicious.
We stay here often, there isn't anything bad to say: clean, friendly, easy access to park, great restaurant nearby, peace and quiet...it's a great place to stay when you visit Yosemite.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service
This hotel is good, if you are okay to travel 1 hour . Because it’s one hour away from valley center . Make sure bring food items with you, only one restaurant is close by .
When we first checked in around 5pm, one of the two rooms we booked did not have heater or TV service. However, the front desk staff did not want to change room for us even though there were many rooms available. She first told us someone would come one hour later. After one hour and 30min, no one showed up and the front desk was also closed for a while. It was until three hours later another staff brought in a portable heater and fixed the TV. Eventually our room was changed to the next room which had working heater. The room condition and the slow service was just not acceptable.
Truly nice, right on the way to Yosemite.
Only 1hr to the valley, perfect place to launch an amazing adventure from.
Lucky Buck restaurant was fantastic with a nice bar.
It was perfect for us
Nice clean comfortable room. Very spacious bathroom. Although the weather wasn't right for it, they also have a nice looking pool and playground. The restaurant next door for dinner and breakfast was also very delicious.
The property was as advertised. Easy location to west entrance to Yosemite. Updated, clean, quiet. Hot tub felt good after day of hiking. Restaurant next door. And a more upscale restaurant 3 miles away.
