Great location and beautiful views

Simple things would move this review to a 5. No hairdryer, no seasonings, not even salt or pepper. No beach towels and very limited garbage bags. These conveniences make staying in a rental condo easier. The condo was cute and very clean for a beach property.

Great place!

Condo was everything I expected! There were little bars of soap at each sink, 2 tablets for the dishwasher, 2 packets to wash clothes, some dishwashing lotion, and a roll of paper towel. It was such a nice surprise and a few little things I didn't have to purchase. Walmart was close to get everything we needed for our stay. There are no beach towels or beach chairs, but you can rent the chairs that are put out on the beach. The king bed was comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was AWESOME! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/silverware/coffee maker/blender. A great place I would like to come back another time! Remember to get your parking pass when you arrive - they give you a warning but you don't want your car towed.

We had cockroaches

After moving in, we noticed cockroaches in the kitchen. Staff was slow to respond. (I have a text thread that I sent to them which will explain how they responded.) I had to call the exterminator myself to get someone out there. Building Manager was not competent. Roaches were not exterminated until 3rd week of stay. Will not stay at San Carlos again, nor will I use Vacasa. I'm filing a complaint demanding my money back that I paid for host, cleaning fees, etc.

Colorful Comfort

I have come to this exact condo for several years now, it is my favorite! It is so colorful, tropical and comfortable. Love the location, floor plan, the wonderful jacuzzi tub in master bedroon and the 5th floor ocean views from master and the living room! Vacasa was great with all texts needed and door codes and care for our satisfaction.

Spring getaway

The condo was spacious and colorful. We enjoyed the central location of the 5th floor condo. We didn't usually wait very long for an elevator. The biggest negative is the parking. It's a big complex and there is not enough parking. They have overflow parking across the street but you have to cross a 4 lane road to get back to the complex. Definitely recommend the Pink Pony restaurant. It's a relatively short walk from the condo.

Awesome condo, vacasa didn’t nail the property management

Love the condo and have stayed in it before under different ownership. It was hard to get a hold of vacasa and they didn’t offer up much information - I.e. we weren’t sure who to contact about maintenance issues (leaky faucet, shower door didn’t close) and my messages on vrbo went unanswered. I was told we couldn’t get 3 parking passes, but later found a kiosk in the lobby that would let us print some. Would’ve been nice to know in advance. Condo itself was just as pictured and super clean

Loved it!

It’s even prettier and larger in person. We have a pillow top mattress at home so I was worried the bed would be hard but it’s like a memory foam so very comfy! There are 3 elevators for the whole condo so you almost never had to wait longer than 20 seconds for an elevator. We stayed on the 5th floor and it was the perfect height to see everything without getting freaked out by the height. The only issues I saw in the entire place was an outlet cover in the twin bedroom is busted at the top and exposed, which might be an issue for someone with kids and the master bathroom shower door was jammed at the bottom so you couldn’t close it from the inside. Both are super easy fixes and would definitely stay again!

Our overall experience was great. We had no problems with this unit. I was underwhelmed with the supply of towels and wash cloths. 2 bath cloths for 2 people for 4 nights was very inadequate. Even taking from the second bath that would be 4 washcloths for 2 people for 4 night. Thankfully, I bring my own. It’s fine to reuse a towels for a few days but not a washcloth. I don’t come on vacation to wash towels and washcloths daily.
