Summer Palace is located at Gulf Shores Plantation approximately 14.5 miles from downtown Gulf Shores. Being built as a duplex, which is 2700 sq. ft., you have the luxury of having two Living Rooms, two Kitchens, and two Laundry Rooms for your convenience!

The Main Level of each unit offers a Kitchen, with both large and small appliances, as well as cookware, utensils, & a walk-in Pantry. The Living Rooms of each unit offers a 50" TV, with Sleeper Sofa, comfortable chairs, and balcony access. For your convenience there is a Half Bath on the main level, as well as an adjoining door so your neighboring family or friends are easily accessible!

The Upper Level of each unit offers Two Bedrooms and Two Full Bathrooms! The Primary Bedroom offers King Bedding, 37" TV, & private bathroom. Oversized Chairs which each featureTwin Pullouts, provides an additional sleeping space for each side. Perfect for kids or small adults. The Guest Bedroom, or Kids Room, offers Full over Full Bunk Beds, a Twin Bed, & 37" Television. Each Kids Room sleeps 5 and offers a Private Bathroom. Each bedroom offers a Private Balcony with Gulf views! The Laundry Closet, offering a Full Size Washer/ Dryer, is also located on the Upper Level for your convenience!

*COMPLEX AMENITIES: 6 Outdoor Swimming Pools, Outdoor Hot Tub, BBQ, Volleyball, Basketball Court, 8 Tennis Courts, & Putting Green and Shuffleboard

*PARKING: Summer Palace is located @ Gulf Shores Plantation and offers onsite parking. Your parking permits will be obtained from the Guard upon arrival at no charge. Please let the Guard know you are staying in Summer Palace, which is Lot/ House 1.

*PETS: This property is NOT a pet friendly property. Any evidence of a pet being on site will result in immediate eviction and possible extra charges if damages occur.

*MONTHLY RENTALS: This property is available for monthly rentals at certain times of the year. Ask the reservationist for details regarding monthly rates and fees associated with monthly rentals.

*CANCELLATION: In the event you have to cancel we will work with you as much as possible, however we do have a Cancellation Policy in place. Cancellation must be more than 30 days prior to arrival date and submitted in writing directly to our office email, , to receive a refund of all monies paid minus your processing fee. Love this place
This place was perfect for my family. We loved every minute of our stay. Perfect location to go to the pool and and the beach. Property manager was great to work with. The only issue we had was checking in with security at the beginning of our stay. Security was unsure of where the property was, even after showing him the email had to wait for another security guard to come for my family and O to get our parking passes. We will be back and renting again.

Awesome house!
We loved how close we were to the beach and multiple pools, tennis courts, hot tubs and basketball courts. Saddened that neither inside pool was available. The house is well maintained and things that came up were taken care of immediately.

Great beach location
The house was not as clean as I would have liked. The shower in two bathrooms did not drain well. The layout of the house is nice and the location is great. The house needs work on the outside.

Prime price for a dirty place
When we arrived the code sent to us would not unlock the door! When we finally got in there was a pile of dirty wet laundry left on the floor. The place was not stocked to accommodate 15 people not enough dishes, silverware or towels. The sleeper sofa and twin bed were broke. When leaving we removed the sheets there was no mattress covers on the dirty stained mattress! The place asks for a premium price but the accommodations were below average. On the plus side the property management company was very responsive to my complaints they brought towels and silverware and had the sofa bed fixed the next day. I would not recommend this place nor will I stay here again.

Beach Girls vacation get away
This was our fourth time staying in this house. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend this location although the amount of stairs us getting challenging with age. We did find the kitchens were not as well equipped as in the past. All pans had chipped off finishes making cooking more challenging. Some of the blinds had broken slats and a fan light fixture on one side had a missing glass fixture. Rust was noticeable on one refrigerator when the door to the freezer was opened. The glass panel over the bottom drawers of one refrigerator was missing. Thankfully this didn't keep us from having a great time!

Not clean
We love Gulf Shores and enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and pools on site. However, upon arriving to the condo, we noticed that there was trash under furniture still from previous guests. The floor had not been swept or vacuumed and we found clumps of hair behind doors and in the bathrooms. One one side of the condo, the B side, the dishwasher was not screwed into the cabinetry. So whenever it was opened, the whole dishwasher would want to fall forward out of the space. Shortly after arriving the manager of the cleaning crew had stopped by to check up on a new workers’ job, and we had to share the lack of cleanliness. She was very understanding and kind and came back that evening with her husband to sweep the floors and wipe down everything for us. We really enjoy Gulf Shores plantation, however I am not sure we would stay at this particular condo again. We were disappointed that it was not clean and properly prepared for our stay.

Great house for beach family reunion!
The duplex had plenty of room for all 19 of us. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The map from the property management company said we had access to the indoor dome pool, but the fobs did not work - we called the number and no one seemed to know what was going on... would have been nice if we could have used that pool. Did use the other outdoor pools and BBQ grill.
