Ashore Thing is a beautiful three-bedroom, four-bath home directly across the street from the beach! This property has deeded beach access 150' from this community and has convenient access by stoplight steps away! The home is located in The Cottages of Romeo II, a quiet community in the heart of Gulf Shores with a shared outdoor pool (not heated).

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and dining room

• Tile flooring is in living areas, and carpet is in the bedrooms

•The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need in your home away from home, with granite countertops and unique cabinetry. The dining room has seating for six and four bar stools for additional seating.

• Full-size washer and dryer in the home and is located on the first floor

• The living area has a sectional couch.

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed.

• The second bedroom has two full-size beds.

• The third bedroom has two full-size beds.

• There are twin bunk beds in the upstairs alcove *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out!

• Maximum of four cars allowed to park under the home. No boats, watercraft, campers or trailers are allowed.

• Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property!!!

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

Great House, short walk to the beach!

When we arrived at 4, the property still needed to be cleaned (we had made reservations like two days before) so I wasn’t upset. The manager was great and cleaning company was wonderful as soon as I let them know it wasn’t ready. They did everything including bringing more people over to get the place cleaned up faster. It was me, my husband, a ten year old, 16 year old, and 23 year old with her husband and three year old. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and rejuvenate. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were simple and perfect for our needs, we really liked the mattresses. The walk to the beach was short and easy, around five minutes with waiting for the light to change at the crosswalk. We had a beach wagon that made it simple to take our beach gear back and forth. We found the discounts on activities to be helpful and so easy to book with the link. Definitely would stay at this property again!

Over all very good. One strange thing, the dish washer and garbage disposal can not both be plugged in to operate at the same time. The bottom plug is for the garbage disposal since it has the switch on it. When it is plugged in, the dish washer can not be plugged into the top one because it has a right angle plug and it interferes with the bottom one. Additionally, we left a hair dyer in one of the upstairs rooms. Can we get it back? Thanks

Comfortable, clean and great location

This house was probably the best beach rental we’ve stayed in. Everything was in great condition and there was lots of space for our family of three adults and three kids. The beach is just a five minute walk with a safe road crossing point right at the beach access path. Beach was spotless too. Communication with the management company was very good too and the Alexa smart host was a nice touch in the rental.

Great place to stay! Right next to the beach and pool access. The house was clean and had so much space for our family. There was plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars and restaurants all around us made it easy to get food with kids. I will come back here anytime!

Fantastic stay

Great stay! Initially I was nervous because I never rented a vacation rental. However, this property was great. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The home is beautiful. It was very clean and a short walk to the beach. The accommodations were great as I had three adults and eight kids. Management was responsive. I locked myself out after hours and she called me back within two minutes and walked me through opening the door. This will be my go to house in Gulf Shores.

Nice Place, great Location

We were very pleased with Ashore Thing. Location was excellent, close to everything in Gulf Shores. House was very clean and well furnished. We have stayed parts of nine winters in the Gulf Shores area and this was the nicest place.

The cottage was exactly as described, and the property management firm, iTripit, was excellent. We walked down a couple blocks for beach access, so perhaps clear directions to that would be useful. Plenty of dishes, flatware, all we needed for 8 of us. (I just now saw that there was supposed to be beach access.) Would definitely rent again.

Great place to vacation!

Beautiful home! Location is near shopping and restaurants. Quick walk to beach, probably a half block to the stop light, then the beach access is right there. The dryer stopped working during our stay, and the owners had a repairman come by the very next morning- super impressed with how quickly they got to it! Highly recommend.
