Ten-Yu was amazing. The property, staff, food, and town were all amazing. The hot spring water was invigorating and relaxing. The private onsen had a beautiful waterfall, the public garden was great. We didn’t try the bar, but did have dinner at the restaurant which was good, followed by a breakfast which had copious amounts of food for all tastes.

It was so fun to stay here! It gets dark and everything nearby closes early (5pm) but the amenities, dining experience and onsen made it well worth the stay. It was the perfect getaway from Tokyo. We even had an outdoor tub that dispensed hot spring water on our balcony! Not to mention the free sparkling wine and ice cream post-onsen.

This was the perfect honeymoon destination for me and my wife. The staff were very attentive and everything in the experience made us feel very spoiled. Enjoyed the private open air onsen as it gave me the flexibility to go anytime I wanted in my room. The facilities and amenities were all very clean and well taken care of. Overall 20/10 experience.
