"Royal" not even close! Rooms and hotel not as pictured. There are not mattresses on the bed, just box springs. The room I was reserved was not available so they gave me a subpar room and still charged me full price without telling me. No outlet in the bathroom, only 1 in the entire room. My whole family was disappointed in their stay. Do not recommend esp for the price! Go elsewhere!!!

Bed was hard. Little no-see-em bugs bit my hands & elbows as i slept. Lots of stairs. Walk up 3 flights, take elevator to one floor above, then walk another flight of stairs. Breakfast minimal-bread was white sandwich bread. Coffee cups held no more than half cup of coffee. Staff were the nicest, most helpful anywhere. Staff made up for any lackings in hotel.

The location is perfect in old quarters. The reception was so fantastic. They greet you with a cold juice and towel. Especially Sully was so helpful and friendly. If you need any information they are readily available. The breakfast although the room is tiny the food is very good selection. The staff very friendly. Enjoy your trip in Hanoi.

We stayed here for three nights, which was reasonably priced in the old town with breakfast. We arrived late at night but checked in smoothly and showed us to our room. The rooms are compact, but have everything you need and no inconvenience. Shower water temperature and volume are not a problem. The tour bus was very convenient as it picked us up in front of the hotel. On weekends there is a night market so it is noisy all the time, but on weekdays it was quiet. There are earplugs in the room, so you should use them if you are concerned. The staff responded pleasantly with a smile. Breakfast was also delicious.

El hotel es modesto pero encantador y realmente acogedor, con un ambiente cálido que te hace sentir como en casa. La ubicación es excelente, justo en el corazón de Hanoi, perfecta para explorar la ciudad. El desayuno era sencillo pero sabroso, y todo estaba limpio y bien mantenido durante nuestra estancia. They were so accommodating and helpful and so nice and kind. Specially Gain she was super helpful and on point. Rooms were clean and the location is great very close to everything around you. You have a lot of shops, restaurants, and all the sites not far away they all walking distance. I would recommend it to anybody visit in Hanoi.

A 4star boutique hotel located in the Old Quarter close to everything you want to see. Fantastic restaurants nearby particularly Met. Breakfast was locket consisting of fruits, sweets and some cooked meals varied each day. Eggs, omelettes French toast to order. A great start to the day. A particular highlight was Miss Jennie and the front of house staff. So friendly and welcoming, they became friends!! Jennie will organise anything for you. Wonderful day trips and cruises on Halong Bay. No to pre book she’ll arrange it all for you. We stayed here a week and will definitely come back!!

Un hôtel-boutique 4 étoiles situé dans le Vieux Quartier, proche de tout ce que vous voulez voir. Des restaurants fantastiques à proximité, en particulier Met. Le petit-déjeuner était composé de fruits, de douceurs et de quelques plats cuisinés variant chaque jour. Œufs, omelettes, pain perdu à la commande. Un excellent début de journée. Un point fort particulier était Miss Jennie et le personnel de la réception. Tellement amicaux et accueillants, ils sont devenus des amis !! Jennie pourra tout organiser pour vous. Merveilleuses excursions d'une journée et croisières dans la baie d'Halong. Pas besoin de réserver à l'avance, elle s'occupera de tout pour vous. Nous avons séjourné ici une semaine et nous y reviendrons certainement !!

I loved the staff. Of my two week stay at multiple hotels in both Vietnam and Thailand this was the most involved and helpful staff. As soon as I booked the staff contacted me on Whatsapp to let me know the tours they can help me book. I checked the price to book on my own and they were comparable. I got a call closer to the date and they let me know it would be better to change my tour days because a typhoon was coming soon. I'm grateful to stay at Royal Palace Hotel because they did a wonderful job informing us of all the weather news and things we should expect. The location is very close to many things without being in a loud area. Super easy to contact and very accommodating! I would recommend to my friends!
