Very convenient location - close to main attractractions. Hotel staff was friendly and hard working. However, building is old lacking in basic conditions. Our room is almost completely filled with two large king beds and no furniture or any space to put our luggage. Can almost hear next door guests completely. Don't have enough water pressure in the shower. Breakfast buffet was basic. The staff works very hard but food often runs out during open hours and can't keep up with guests flow (outdated kitchen equipment?). Overall, we appreciate the the hotel staff's hard effort to serve us but felt certain aspects of the property could use an over haul.

Very good location. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The man on reception was always happy to chat to us and super enthusiastic, which always made us smile. Robert took our bags while checking in and then took us to our room which was lovely. All staff then walked us out when we left and was very beautiful goodbye.

We found everything at the Royal Palace great and agree it is a little gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions of places to go, the tour we booked through them was great. Location is in the heart of the old town and close to the lake, rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Room was in good condition; evening staff was distracted, not engaged. The biggest problem is that the room is loud! Loud hotel guests in the lobby, footsteps in the stairwell, and for 30 min at 6am and again at 7pm —- the speaker for the government announcement broadcast is right outside the window!

Stay there for the free breakfast! It was very good and was something different everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean but the doors were a bit thin so you really heard the hallway noise. The area around the hotel is very busy but close to everything. We would definitely stay again!

Super friendly staff willing to help from the moment we walked in the door. Linh and her team offered some great recommendations and cared about what we did each day and how they could help us. Very reasonable price that enabled us to leave our luggage in our room for our overnight stay at ha long bay. Good access to many of the old quarter attractions. Plenty of good food options nearby. Street closes down over the weekend making traffic less hectic.

Perfect boutique-style hotel in the Old Town area just a very short walk from all of the main sights of the area like Hoan Kiem Lake and the main nightlife areas. The hotel staff are very helpful giving tips for the area and assistance where needed. We also organised some trips with the host Mrs Jennie as well as airport transfers without a single hassle. The rooms were large and spacious and the beds were comfy which meant I got an excellent nights sleep after enjoying the hospitality of the city.

This boutique hotel was clean, spacious (we had the family room) and had the best location to explore the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. We were also spoiled for food and coffee options. The staff were so accommodating, efficient and pleasant to us. Miss Linh was always happy to chat to us and it made us feel like we were home away from home!
