Wonderful place - unless you stay in on weekends
This place was far and away better than another place we stayed in Hanoi for only $3 more. BUT, it shares a wall with a nightclub (our room did anyway). So on Saturday night (only night we stayed), even with earplugs and a white noise app, I couldn't sleep at all until after 2 (the vibrations last even if you drown out the volume). If you're a nightowl, the location is amazing and you'll be out for most of this anyway. Or if you're only staying on weekdays, great hotel.

The housekeepers are friendly and courteous. The room is very noisy at night from loud music from neighbouring buildings. The aircon is not cool.

Great location and exceptional service.
Location was fantastic central and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Only downside was the noise throughout the night but no complaints form Me since I have Noise cancelling headphones and the loud music only means you are central to where all the action is. The service was superb and the morning breakfast was made to order and excellent every morning of my stay. I was a solo traveler (female) and felt safe the whole time. Would def book again for future travels.

The property is right in the centre of the old quarter, it’s a great location to be in the middle of the party. Lots of good bars and food places near by. Staff are super friendly and the breakfast is spot on lots of options. Rooms are clean, modern and bed is comfy. The room we had included ac and was very cool. Bathrooms are clean and the staff clean everyday. Only reason this place doesn’t get a 5dtar is because it’s nextdoor to a nightclub and the bass from the speakers make your room vibrate until 2/3am in the morning on a weekend. So if your an early bird for bed time then you will struggle to sleep. If you out for the night and enjoying the weekend this place is for you.

Great location if you dont mind a bit of noise
This is a brilliant, well priced small hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is quite a bit of music noise from neighbouring businesses. A special thank you to Kelly on reception, who drove me and my luggage safely on her scooter through crazy traffic to the number 86 bus stop, to go to the airport. She and and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great price hotel, fantastic staff, just noisy.
This is not a quiet 5* hotel so do not complain if that is what you are looking for. There is a very noisy bar next door and a busy street at the front. I stayed for 1 night on floor 2 which was very noisy, a few days later I stayed on floor 6 (top floor) which was MUCH quieter. The rooms do have a bit of a damp pong, but I did not notice it after 5 minutes. What I love about Hanoi Space Hotel is the great price for the spacious well equipped rooms, location, good breakfast and the amazing helpful and chatty staff. Read the genuine reviews and make your choice.

The main attraction is the location. It is one of the cleaner hotels. Don't expect western standards but as a base to explore old Hanoi it's very good value. Ma May is the centre of the night life also so if it's quiet you want this is not the place for you.

The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make our visit a great experience. The night clerk even booked us tix to Halong Bay the night we came in, at 11:30 that night. Five star svc.

Krystal at reception was absolutely splendid. Quick to get us to room and all the related details. Kelly waiting for us in the morning for breakfast in her soft and gentle manner was a great start to the day. The cooking staff made sure we had a good breakfast to start each day. Huge Value!!

We book 4 nights stays in Hanoi Space Hotel. It located in Hanoi Old Quarters, convenient nearby nights market, hoam kiem lake, shopping streets and many restaurants. Everything is perfect & impressive from check-in, room service, customer service and breakfast. The room is spacious, clean, with big comfortable beds, showers room and generous supplies of toiletries and hair dryers. We had wonderful make to order breakfast with unlimited servings. The hotel served us with welcome drinks and fresh fruits. The check-in process is fast and Mr Viet the night duty manager personally shown us to the Family room and explains to us about the hotel policy. I have stayed many hotels around the world and this is my very first time that someone brought us to the room. Thanks to Mdm Kelly the lady in-charge of our daily breakfast. Her service is superb, friendly and caring person. No regrets booking this hotel and will definitely book again in future.

Bella Rosa Hotel
We actually stayed at the sister hotel Bella Rosa on the next street in Hanoi as Space Hotel was fully booked when we arrived. The hotel offers the great service and location of the Space Hotel but is newer so the decor is in better condition. The staff really make your stay as easy and the warm welcome you receive when you step through the front door lifts the soul after battling through the lively streets of Hanoi

Space Hotel Hanoi is set within the living Old quarter of Hanoi, which makes it a great location if you want to walk straight out of the front door and be part of Vietnam busy city life, not so good if sleep is your priority as it is noisy, it you have a front bedroom. We stayed as a mum travelling with two adult children and the beds and room were ample bid enough to give us each the space we needed The staff are extremely friendly and have a "nothing is too much" attitude to helping. We were welcomed on arrival with fresh fruit and juice and were offered it every time we returned after a long day. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Space hotel has good sized rooms, with everything that is necessary and more. Room could do with a bit of a redecoration but was spotless clean. After a two day tour to Ha Long Bay we returned to Space Hotel, they apoligised that they were full booked and took us to next street to their sister hotel Bella Rosa. We received the same warm welcome. This hotel is much newer so decor top notch. We had a room with a window that looked into an external corridor so no view but it did make the room very quiet despite the main street being right on the door step. To sum it up execellent value and service at a very affordable price

Superb customer service - a gem!
Location The hotel is situated on the busy and lively road of Ma May. There are plenty of bars and options for street food. The room was quiet and seems to be a bit of gem amongst a somewhat busy and bustling road. We discussed the main tourist destinations with Albert, who provided a map (which was very easy to follow!) and advised to catch a taxi (kindly organised by the hotel - 30,000VND) to Tran Quoc. We then walked to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Flag Tower, The Old Citadel, Temple of Literature, Trainline Road for the famous photo opportunity, St Joseph’s Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake, which then naturally led back to the hotel. Transport We took the Airport Express Bus, which cost 35,000VND each (approximately £1) and took 45minutes. The hotel was about a 5minute walk from the bus stop. Check-in We arrived at 10.30pm and were checked into our rooms by Felix. We were greeted with fruit and juice on arrival and the night staff insisted on taking our luggage to the room with Felix. Room We opted for a room with no window, which was perfect. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, shower was strong and warm and the air condition wasn’t too noisy at night, after adjusting the settings. No noise was heard from the street. Breakfast Great mix of local and Western cuisine. You are provided with a menu and everything is cooked fresh to order. Options include Pho (chicken/beef), vegetable/meat spring rolls and eggs cooked to your liking.
