An Enjoyable Stay at the Rex Hotel
Upon entering the hotel we were greeted and welcomed with hot tea.......lovely. Our luggage was stored while waiting for our room to become ready. We had breakfast every morning and the staff and food selection was outstanding. We ate dinner in the evening twice and found the food to be very good. The Sky bar was enjoyed and overall we recommend the hotel. Thanks for the enjoyable stay at the Rex Hotel.

The night market is very noisy, if you are young and want to party it’s ok. But if you want to sleep you will get none

Restaurant was on the 15 floor and the elevator only went to the 12. And anyone that has a hard time with stairs well it was quite painful. The swimming pool is very tiny and a few steps down from the restaurant and very cold. Other that that it was great but you pay for it

Location good
Good location in the old town, but very noisy by day and night. Staff are friendly but the hotel is dated and the rooms look old. Also the walls are thin and you can hear everything! If you want a quiet night sleep, the hotel is not the best place.

We like the location of the property, convenient to everything. The property is dated and needs maintenance - the hot water in shower took long to heat up and water pressure was very low.

This hotel is in the heart of Old Quarters. It is very close to Swan Lake, which is beautiful to walk around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in this area, including the Water Puppet Theater, Hanoi Prison and Vietnamese Women’s Museum. A quick GRAB and you will be at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Park. Best of all was the Sky Bar and Breakfast Buffet, including the view. The staff was fabulous, polite and very helpful with tours, grab, reservations, etc. They all deserve recognition for a “top-notch” performance. The staff, especially Kim are what makes this hotel stand out. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Thumbs up to all of you!

Okay Hotel
It isn't okay Hotel but older style with wood panel rooms and I believe the pictures online do not portray a exact image of the hotel. The staff are super nice breakfast room is small but a great variety of foods. There is a rooftop bar but no specials or happy hours to attract the crowd so it's dead which is a shame because almost every small hotel similar to the Rex has promo drinks between four and six. I would not stay here again with other choices in Hanoi
