Had a good nights sleep , bed was comfortable but small compared to other hotel rooms in Hanoi. Shower had good warm water pressure. Staff were excellent especially Leo. Very polite and a helpful young man. Convenient location, close to all tourist hotspots. Pictures on site are not same as bedroom

Shining Central was the perfect choice for our 3 days in Hanoi. It's location in the Old Quarter was perfect and very convenient. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was just above and beyond - so friendly and helpful. I had items which I purchased in Hoi An earlier in my trip delivered and there was no problem receiving this package. They also booked taxis, shows and tours for us. And the massage I booked in the spa was fantastic. Great place all around.

I would definitely recommend the Shining Central. The hotel is well located in the Old Quarter, with nearby provision stores and restaurants. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a good spread of local Vienamese and international buffet dishes. But the biggest recommendation has to go to the staff, who were very helpful and friendly. They helped us to buy last minute tickets to the water puppet show, and arranged a driver to the Perfume Pagoda complex. They also called me to tell me that I'd accidentally left behind a jacket in the room, and arranged to send it to me back home. Superb service!

The staff at Shining Boutique are so wonderful. They called us upon arrival to make sure we were on our way. They were happy to help with anything we needed. Would stay here again!

Worthwhile to be back here again

Hotel just reopened after 4 months after Covid situation in Vietnam, hence a very neat and nice hotel overall. Location is also walkable (10mins) to nearby Bia Hoi Junction. Hotel also offer a discounted for their massage/spa packages, which is a good deal too. A very welcoming sight upon entering the room as informed we are celebrating an occasion and they duly got the room prepared for it, thank you for the effort and dedication. It was a good view from the highest floor of your hotel, despite it is only 9 floors. However, would like to highlight that whenever we enter the room each time we came back, there is still foul smell after opening the door. Maybe it could be due to the air circulation when the aircon is off when we head out, but it is alright after 5mins. Other than that, the stay is wonderful ! Will be happy to be back here again.

Upgraded to a bigger room & free foot massage. Bed was huge with lovely mattress and pillows- we live white sheets and towels. Nice hot shower, good location for train street and good choice for breakfast. Lovely welcoming staff. Would stay here again.Good WiFi

The staff were efficient as and courteous at at all times. They organised a number of activities for me including trips to Sapa and Halong Bay, and exceeded expectations in both cases. Lily was particularly in my case and made sure everything wasn't planned and executed perfectly. A great experience.

Fantastic Stay in Hanoi

This hotel has been exceptional and really impressive. As a hotels.com gold member, I was treated like a VIP from start to finish. I got a free massage and late 2pm check-out. The staff are really friendly and are seeking to help you in any way they can. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The price is extremely good value. Only small negative was the breakfast was mostly finished when we arrived but that was mainly my own fault for getting up later - would advise to get down a bit earlier and not right before it closes! Overall a great stay and would stay here again if ever in Hanoi again.

Great hotel with wonderful staff!

We've stayed here for a few different nights on our trip around Vietnam so far. The staff are very helpful, and could also offer tips for trips and tour services they were efficient and the service is excellent. The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and well equipped. I enjoyed staying here and definitely would again. The breakfast spread is pretty good and offers an omlette bar which I appreciated.

Absolutely. Amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with free water and fresh fruit every day. Amenities were great, including a variety of foods for breakfast. Location is right downtown in Hanoi, with great nightlife and lots to do for a few days. Most of all, the staff was so accommodating - they make sure to answer all your questions and have plenty of recommendations for things to do. They were very enthusiastic in making us feel like home, helped us with our luggage, and called taxis for us as well. Overall, highly recommend, and definitely stay here if you are coming to Hanoi!

Lilly shines at Shining Boutique Hotel!

The staff here is so attentive! Especially Lilly who helped me organize two sightseeing trips to Ha Long Bat and Ninh Binh. I always felt that she was handling my concerns and was always available to communicate through WhatsAp. My trip to Hanoi was a success because of Lilly.

Just truly remarkable service - from the welcome drink, to recommendations from the front desk, including a private escort to help us find our way to a local restaurant, to the first class breakfast. Top shelf!
