Your last vacay feel like it was centuries ago? Simple — book a ticket to Harg and you'll be away in a jiffy!

The country's capital, Stockholm, is located around 85 kilometres to the northeast of Harg.

Nykoping lies 4 kilometres southeast. The trip over can be easily justified by Nykoping Castle alone.

Sitting 90 kilometres to the northeast, Schweizerbadet Beach is a delightful spot to spend an afternoon lounging by the sea. Toro Pebble Beach also boasts some incredible views. You'll find this inviting shoreline 45 kilometres to the northeast.

It's no secret that time spent in nature can improve your well-being, both mental and physical. Keeping that in mind, why don't you journey 25 kilometres out of Harg to Stendorren Nature Reserve? Svensksundsviken Nature Reserve, just 40 kilometres away, is one more recommended choice.

Roam free around the picturesque landscape of Nykoping Harbor. A visit to Nykopings Hamn will also do wonders for your mind and body.

Jump on the chairlift at Hammarbybacken Ski Area, enjoy the luscious landscape and then zoom back to the lodge. For even more chilled thrills, pick your next conquest at Yxbacken Ski Slope.

Looking for even more fantastic attractions? Head to Stigtomta, 12 kilometres west of Harg, for the Jonakers Golf Club and the F11 Airplane Museum. Alternatively, Oxelosund is 14 kilometres to the southeast, and it's here you'll find Femoere Fort and the Archipelago Museum.

Whether it's for some shopping or to see the sights, visitors often head over to Norrkoping, 50 kilometres to the southwest. The City Museum, Power Park and the Work Museum are close by. That said, you wouldn't want to miss out on Folkparken and the Norrkoping Art Museum either.

Your eyes shouldn't get to have all the fun while visiting Sodermanland County. Give your taste buds a little attention too by trying the local food and drink. After all, you haven't truly experienced a place until you've tasted its flavours.

This area has a unique cooking style centred on traditional ingredients and local tastes. You'll discover lingonberries and strawberries are two staple elements in much of the fare.

From the middle of Harg, it's about 110 kilometres northeast to Arlanda Airport (ARN). This is the closest airport. Be sure to give yourself ample time to get there so you don't miss check-in.
