The VIP "drinks" were two bottles of water and 2 packs of chips ahoy cookies (2 cookies each). We were surprised to find a fireplace and full kitchen in the room (complete with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, Stovetop, pots and pans, and dishes). The pool deck was extremely slippery. My husband almost fell twice. There were people in the pool with their street clothing on, drinking beer from glass bottles, and opening the outside door. It was 40 degrees outside and we weren't trying to swim in the cold. The hottub is small and with two other people already in it we decided against joining their party. No one from the hotel came in to enforce the rules. We did notice on our way out the pile of trash from the partiers just outside an exterior door (the one they propped open) when we were leaving. There was also a member of the cleaning staff cleaning the pool area as we were leaving. Breakfast was so-so. The food wasn't great and there weren't many options. I will not return to this hotel.

We weren't welcomed well to start. Breakfast was interesting to say the least. When we brought up that our a/c wasn't working properly they told his that it would be days until they could get it fixed. That was Saturday morning and we checked out on a Sunday. They never offered to move us or adjust our stay in any way. When we informed them our tub was backing up and very slow they handled it the same. They also told us b/c we booked through this site that they recommended complaining to who we booked through instead of them. Basically told to deal with it because we didn't book through them. Very disappointing! We are not going back there again.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this room. But shouldn't be if I had judged from the outaide of this building. Feels like I'm not in Harrisburg but visiting sveral states away. Especially with the lighting outside at night. Puts the Holiday Inn next door to shame. Kudos to the staff here they take pride in their work. And the gentleman that checked me in was kind and professional. The lobby is beautiful and the dining areas are clean and SPACIOUS...👍.
