We have had many stays at the Hyatt House( latest 2019)- Windsor and this stay was by far the worst. We were not informed of the house keeping policy which is cleaning every third day of your stay. Even with that policy in effect, our room was never touched until day 4 of our stay (after requesting twice). Also our shower had strings of hair in the shower when we arrived on Sunday and a dirty microwave plate left in the microwave. We have loved staying here in the past but, again, this was the worst because we've just not experienced this ever. Also staff was average. A few of them were really nice but later shifts made you feel as if you were"bothering" them. Times sure have changed!

Rooms need a serious refurbishment.
We booked our stay based upon recent reviews proclaiming it was "super clean!" Nothing could be further from the truth. The shower floor and rugs were filthy. The grout on the floor was black, but as you went up the walls, it was off-white, so it was in need off a good bleaching. We asked to change rooms and they accommodated us. The next one wasn't much better. You would think if someone was complaining about the condition of a room, that they would try to put you in a room that's in good condition. We were afraid to take a shower! We went out and bought sandals to wear in the shower and on the rugs when barefoot. The sheetrock was poorly repaired and stained. Once upon a time, these were great rooms, but they need a serious upgrade.

Our rooms were great except the bathroom and shower and toilet could be cleaner. I saw spit stuff on the sink wall which was from a prior guest brushing and was not cleaned. The shower has old mildew and soap scrums that comes from not cleaning properly. However everything else was great. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend that the do free coffee in the lobby throughout the day the way the Hilton does. This would be a nice perk to have !!
