The lobby was closed and we checked into a window in a dark hall. Fruit cup only available for breakfast. Coffee was terrible. Rooms very outdated. Was supposed to have 3 double beds but one was a twin. Bathtub was stained and drain was plugged with hair. The main door wasn’t sealed- could see daylight around it. Beds made with a sheet and very thin top that resembled a shower curtain. Pillows were flat. Carpet was stained and there was something that looked like earwax or boogers wiped on walls. Bathroom lock was damaged and holes in the walls. Staff was friendly.

Short stay for volunteer work
Small bugs came out in the bathroom at night. All the fixtures worked. They could use updating. There’s no place to plug in phone charger cables. They have wifi but i wasn't given the password. Cell signal is good there right in town. Road noise is pretty high until after 11pm.

The curtains needed to be fixed and the walls and ceilings need a washing. The beds were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly.

Rough Stay
When booking this room it is for 7 people. When you go to the room you get two full size beds and one twin. I am not sure where 7 are supposed to sleep so, two had to sleep on the floor. The beds do not have blankets, just a large sheet.

So let's be honest this part of Laurel is not the cute quaint part on tv you're looking for. This is definitely like truck stop-esque. The room had general debris on the floor looked like it blew in from the door opening, leaves and such. The shower was clean thankfully. The bed however was full of hair so we covered it back up and used our own blankets on top of the bed. The staff was great with our late evening check in and upon checking out. Good enough for an overnight along our trip.

Bathroom was absolutely disgusting, used wash cloths were left behind, hair all in the shower, burns on the comforter from cigarettes and I was worried about my vehicle all night long due to the location and the loud disturbances from other people staying there.

The staff at the property is what made our stay, they were all kind and helpful, especially the front desk lady that worked the overnight shift. I can't remember her name but she was very hospitple and always had a smile on her face. The room was a great size and comfortable, however the cleanliness was not good at all. Our bed sheets were dirty as they were never changed from the previous renter, the coffee pot was very nasty and had roaches crawling out of it, the towels were very dingy and had hair etc in them, the dresser draws were dirty and not cleaned out, the phone had liquid all in it where you pick the actual telephone up, under TV area was sticky and had gunk under it, shower was full of mold, room was dusty and not kept up well.

Ms Tina was great the room itself well not impressed the first room we were given the key didn’t have work then we asked for a new one then the lights in bathroom didn’t work then we moved to a new room that key didn’t work got a new one at least that room was non-smoking compared to the last one which was supposed to be non-smoking but you could tell it was a smoking room. Well I’m sorry to say I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

The location is great. Access from the opposite side of the road is a bit trying during high traffic times. The ceiling in our room had the texture peeling in large circles. The room was good and comfortable. Still a great 5 Star Stay as we are concerned. Staff was extremely helpful and cordial.
