Nice property but they need new night staff.
We booked an accessible room with a king bed. When we arrived the front desk agent was no where to be found and by the time she appeared 3 of us were waiting to check in. Upon arriving in our room we noticed that the bed was not a king size. We went back to the front desk, where another guest was having an issue with the agent, and told her about the problem. The lady argued with us about what we had booked and we showed her the confirmation. She then informed us that they didn’t have a king accessible so she had just downgraded us, without asking. We explained we needed a king bed and she then told us that the property didn’t even offer accessible rooms with king beds, basically that typeof room did not exsist. We requested we be switched to a room with a king and just had to take an non-accessible room.and deal the best we could. We contacted hotels.com and while helping us work through the issue the hotel itself refused to answer the phone to speak to customer service. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I could not sleep however because the guest on the floor above was walking around their room most of the night and our ceiling kept creaking. It is awkward entering the hotel and actually accessing your room, plus the night desk agent never gave us instructions on how to get to our room at all. The housekeeping staff and breakfast attendent were very pleasant. Overall good location with a lot in the area.
