Stunning location in a relaxed and peaceful hotel with pleasant rooms and very friendly staff. The light and spacious restaurant was lovely with amazing top class food and excellent service. The spa is a little underwhelming but more than made up for by the beautiful views with some incredible walks right from the hotel.

Wouldn't class this as a luxury hotel.
Had to pay a premium for a dog friendly room which would be Okay if we hadn't been relegated to an average room still containing the last occupants dog hairs.
Dinner was nice staff excellent.
Breakfast left a lot to be desired undercooked slimy poached eggs, thought luxury hotel would have fresh avocado but no, it appeared to have come out of a tub.
Full Derbyshire the oatcake looked like it ham swam there through a pan of grease, black pudding was a big lump on the plate no finesse whatsoever, as for the bacon it was grey in colour and the fat wasn't cooked. I wouldn't have given to my dog.
The view was nice but it still didn't detract from the awful breakfast.
If they want to be a luxury hotel they the need to up their game
Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery.
Beautiful hideaway in the valley. Spa and food were excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating. Comfortable bed. Great location in Peaks National Park
Excellent food and service. Enjoyed catching up with friends in the hot tub area which you need to pre book. Room a little on the small side but well presented. Good vegetarian and vegan choice of food
Amazing stay, great idea having only 1 option of dinner, bed & breakfast rate, so it's all taken care of. Dinner at the hotel's Grafene restaurant was really good. Nice spa facilities.
Quite a fantastic hotel, arguably one of the best within Peak District, considering hotel is bestowed with breathtaking views of Losehill peaks.
To compliment all the above, hotel has Spa and Sauna facilities, which overlook the peaks.
Last but not the least, it houses Grafene fine dine restaurant and Bar, which use some of the freshest ingredients available locally. Definitely recommended
The star of the show is tithe restaurant! The food is simply amazing. Lovely tranquil hotel set amongst stunning scenery in Hope valley. Cant wait to go back.
The hotel is situated in a wonderful, peaceful setting. The room was very clean & comfortable. It seems very popular with couples although, during our stay, there were a few families with young children & booking the spa was essential if you wanted a swim as children were allowed in the pool.
The food was of a very high standard.
I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the Derbyshire Peaks.
Had a lovely meal with friends on Saturday evening. The hotel could not do enough for us as when we arrived there had been a confusion about the table booking and so they reset another table as fast as they could and we had an excellent meal with our friends
The hotel staff were polite and very efficient Our room was excellent with lovely views across to the hills. Wish we could have stayed there longer
