Elevation to the water

The house was great and we enjoyed our stay. The elevation from the house to the water was a little more than I expected. With four kayaks and five grandkids this proved to be more or a workout than i bargained for. Also the hydrilla in the water made swimming unsafe.

High school youth group reunion

The house was perfect for our reunion. It was just as described in the write-up. We had a couple issues upon arrival and they were promptly addressed. As noted it is a steep path to the lake. Our only negative was small gnats that were throughout the property, they didn't bite and I am sure seasonal due to the closeness of the lake.

Great place for a great, relaxing, fun weekend! There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone, and the living space was great for the whole group to gather. No complaints, but some commented that a ladder on the dock would’ve been appreciated.

Beautiful views. Nice large seating areas for big group. Our sheets were dirty upon arrival and home could definitely use a deep clean. Master bathroom has only a bathtub (no shower head) so we had to share the downstairs shower. Older home but good location.

Nice place but improvements recommended

House was perfect size for 5 adults. Nice view and quite area. The backyard to the lake was somewhat steep for older people. Would have been nice to have a fireplace or fire pit. Only complaints were that the stove had the largest burner not working; pool table needed a new pocket/cloth bed; front steps were tricky for older people and a garbage diposal would have been nice to have.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was comfortable and roomy. I will say we were supersized to find some beds without sheets and it was a little less clean than we desired. But the owner was very helpful in accommodating our needs. We had a great time relaxing, playing games and hanging out with our large family!

Great property, would return!

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were there over the Christmas holiday and due to covid did not venture out. The home had everything we needed and more. In addition to the beautiful view, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. The beds were comfortable (we only used the two upstairs bedrooms), and each bedroom had an attached bathroom- one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. The upstairs family room also had a sizeable tv, which was a nice surprise from the one pictured (also only one recliner rather than the two pictured which was no big deal for us). Another bonus was the holiday decor which we enjoyed as we were away from home. We didn't require any contact with the owner during our stay (everything was as described), however I inadvertently left an item in the home after we left. The owner was extra helpful in getting the item back to me, a happy ending to a very pleasant stay!

Great Getaway with Friends

Our close knit group of traveling friends (six of us) have been shut in due to COVID since March and we all needed an escape! We decided to take all the necessary precautions and travel to this location and have a staycation away from our homes! We had an excellent time! The house was large and spacious, had plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and gave us the much needed break we wanted from our regular lives! The guys loved the pool table and we loved laying with blankets in the sun by the lake! Truly relaxing! Also, the property manager Lori was amazing! Very attentive to our needs and we had great accommodations! We will book again!

Beautiful house in the woods

This house was easy to get to and the view out to the shoreline was quite picturesque. The house was exactly as all of the photographs portrayed. The upper and lower floors were very roomy and allowed for all family members to stretch out and relax. The kitchen was completely outfitted with all utensils and appliances anyone would need. The driveway leading to the house had a steep incline, but that was due to the topology of the property itself. The first time we navigated the driveway we went very slow but soon after it was something to easily get used to. Overall, the house was perfect in terms of everything that we were expecting and looking for. A wonderful choice in properties. We could easily see ourselves coming back to this house the next time we find ourselves in Arkansas.

Great place!

My family and I rent a place every summer and this one was one of the best ones yet! There is plenty of room! The bed on the left (as you enter the house) was not as comfortable as the others, but we were happy to "make do." The only other thing I want to mention is when they say it is a steep climb down to the lake, it's true! Maybe it's because we are from Louisiana and it's so flat, but that climb was a challenge.
